This changed my mind about Marzipan.
Made a fruit cake for mothers day (for the kids to give to mum) and it called for a Marzipan topping, something I always hated. But, I wasn't making it for me so I stuck the the recipe. I had no idea just how good Marzipan was, I guess years of eating cheap stuff used on mass produced cakes had me off for life. Renshaw, congratulations you have totally converted me with this delicious product. Many thanks also to Mary Berry for telling me how to make the best cake I ever ate. Sadly I don't dare buy your cake books because your recipe was so easy I'd end up making cakes every weekend :).

Easy to roll
I love making cakes and this particular packet was used for a birthday cake - the leftovers I will make into marzipan fruits. Renshaw's are reliable and their products are always good quality and would always choose theirs over supermarket products especially fondant icing.

Nicht weiß!!!
Wenn man weißes Marzipan bestellt und einfach 'Marzipan Farbe' bekommt, ist das schön enttäuschend. Ja es schmeckt und lässt sich gut verarbeiten, ABER es sollte verboten werden da weiß drauf zu schreiben und es auch so zu verkaufen. Denn dann hätte ich auch kleinere Pakete, auch teurer gekauft, aber diese wären wirklich weiß gewesen. Am Bild erkennt man den Unterschied. Die Verpackung daneben ist weiß. Das Marzipan jedoch nicht. Vom daher 2 Punkte Abzug weil es einfach falsch verkauft wird. Jetzt muss ich nochmal weißes kaufen und das Kilo anders verarbeiten.

Das ist marzipan Natur und nicht weiß!! Schlecht, wenn man nur das da hat und eine weiße Torte eindecken möchte!!
