Nice weight, well constructed and Bright
The torched arrived promptly, it was well packaged and presented. The torch has a nice weight and is well constructed. What I like about the torch is that it’s rechargeable and that I can recharge the battery via the unit using a normal USB cable.Obviously the battery has to be charged, but I tested the torch before charging to make sure there weren’t any issues. It’s hard to say how much charge was already it there but it was still super bright. After fully charging the unit, I tested it again at night, even on the low setting it lite the garden up easily, garden length circa 100’ there were no dark spots, it was a full beam of light.I didn’t test the waterproof characteristic as I’m not using in water or expecting to, but it’s nice to know that it should be watertight, with that in mind, you can see rubber O-rings at the joints, if I’m honest I can see over time that these seals will breakdown but I’m sure replacement seals can be purchased.Pricing wise I got this on Prime Day, so there was a deal, I think the usual price £45.99 is expensive, but i was happy to pay the money I did £35.99 if the unit performs well, remembering that there is also an 18-month warranty.I think this is a great torch so I showed the torch to a family member and they are now looking to purchase a unit.

Excellent for the price but..
I've owned torches for a while now , being serious about them since 1991 when I made my first Maglite purchase.I saw this and thought it would be a pretty good buy. Anker are a brand I recognise through their mobile phone batteries and chargers. I couildn't see them producing any rubbish so decided to go for it.As with all Anker products it arrived well packaged but in a very basic box with no pics etc on it at all. It also came supplied with a lanyard, a large 26650 lithium ion battery, a micro USB-USB A lead for charging and some basic instructions. On first impressions the thing to notice is that it is a fair bit bigger than similar products elsewhere. It has three Cree LED's in its head and also feels somewhat heavier as a result. To charge the battery you need to undo the torch at the base cap where theres a micro USB socket. The lead then needs to plugged into the torch then the other end into a powered USB socket such as a PC, Laptop, Phone charger with the USB socket on it etc..a mains adaptor is NOT supplied. In operation the torch is very bright with a good overall spread between beam distance and spread. It's reasonably sturdy and perfectly good for everyday consumer use.You have to bear in mind that this torch is aimed at those who want a good easy-to-use torch with a good beam and with excellent value for money. As far as that goes, this Anker delivers in spades.BUT if I was start putting it up against other more expensive equivalents like Fenix and Maglite, it just isn't made up to those standards. The interior components such as the spring, Micro USB socket are not the sort of sturdy design as those brands mentioned. Neither is the surface finish. And the beam being 1300 Lumens? Not IMHO. I bought a Nextorch which quoted around 500 lumens and there isn't too much of a difference.Even with those things in mind this product can for £45.99 be recommended.

LC130: Very bright, very impressive, not for walking the dog unless you're going to get mugged!
I bought this when the price dropped on Prime day to below £40. I've been using an LED lenser 7.2 (it's zoomable) for the last couple of years and on new batteries (4xAAA) I've found it plenty bright enough for a walk after work that may end in the dark or walking the dog around the village in the dark. To be honest I only bought this out of curiosity when the price dropped. I didn't really feel I needed it.I was right. It's way OTT for walking a dog around a village or town. Residents and drivers will be p****d off with you if you use it on a street, it's too bright! However, it's a really impressive flashlight. I tested it the other night on the edge of my village away from streetlights in near pitch darkness with some moonlight. On the brightest mode at 200m+ you can make out objects clearly, if it's a human, a cow or an electricity pole etc. As rain clouds moved in and the air got more humid I had to hold it out away from my position to reduce reflected light just as fog lights on your car do as opposed to full beam headlights but it still gave me a clear view at 200m. This torch is at least as powerful as a single modern xenon or LED car headlight on full beam. It just doesn't have quite the spread of light you get with two headlights. But you don't need that as you're not driving. It is not zoomable but the beam is very well designed, not super narrow at distance but also doesn't light up a wide area in the foreground. I didn't buy this for close in work and it's too bright for that anyway. Even on low brightness mode it's bright and the beam is narrow at close up distance, so not designed for walking the dog. This would be ideal for use at sea, coastguard, mountain search and rescue etc. probably as a flashlight you would carry as a personal search light or back up to the lights you'd get issued with. Also possibly hunting although the beam may not be narrow enough at longer distances and there's no trigger switch available that I know of. Could be used for potholing cave and mine exploring but the beam may be a bit too narrow in short to medium distances especially if you want to use it for photography and light painting a chamber. You could use it on a bike with a handlebar adapter but as it's not really designed for that, there are two problems, it's not easy to switch quickly between high and low brightness if a car comes towards you because of the 5 mode switch in the tail cap and a crash could see you get a nasty injury as it digs into you as you go over the handlebars! Ouch! However, there is another use for this. Home and personal security. This could just stand on your bedside table (it's very stable when standing on the lens end) and in the event of a break in it has two uses. On high power mode or strobe it will blind any burglar for probably long enough for you to get out (BE WARNED, this will probably cause eye damage if you shine it at people close up). You could also use it in self defence as it's quite heavy and is a good grip in the hand with the wide lens. It's a bit unbalanced in the hand, it's lens end heavy. I found that if I held it underarm it wanted to tilt down and slip out of my hand over time so you have to grip it slightly tighter or use it overarm. If held overarm it balances on the bridge of my hand (btwn thumb and index finger) where the wider lens meets the shaft, the problem with holding it like that is my thumb isn't long enough to reach the on/off/mode switch in the tail. I usually take a large size in gloves so only people with very long thumbs or giant hands are likely to find perfection. The provided lanyard helps though. It fits easily in a pocket but the wide heavy lens end means you can feel it and I think kept in a back pocket in you trousers (lens up) it could fall out if you're walking. Finding a suitable belt/rucksack holster may be difficult because of that wide lens.It has waterproof o-rings but I haven't tested it's waterproofness. Charging involves unscrewing the waterproof end cap (which is tethered to the charging cap internally via an elastic cord, wierd but it stops you losing the end cap) to find another internal end cap or charging cap retaining the battery with a micro usb input and a charge light. A short micro usb cable is included along with the battery (Li-ion 26650 5000mah).It has five modes, high, mid, low power, strobe and SOS (which both seem to use high power). You can scroll through each mode in that order by either momentary on by pressing halfway down on the switch and releasing or fully press and click and then repeat to scroll the modes. If left off for a few moments it will remember which mode you were in so when you switch on again it will be in the last mode used.I have not tested how long the battery lasts on full power but after half an hour of use I didn't detect any reduction in brightness, a spare battery is easily obtainable and fairly cheap.Construction is the usual high quality from Anker but I do have a concern about the aluminium threads long term, because one is inside another they're shallow and you need to be careful not to cross-thread them. The only real gripe I have is why these flashlight manufacturers insist on having strobe and SOS mode switches. For most applications it's not needed and in practical use is just frustrating when you're trying to find the brightness level you want. I wish they would include an exta tail cap switch which is simply a two mode high and low switch or have it as an option when purchasing. So overall it's an impressive flashlight for its size, weight and price. More for specialist use and TOO BRIGHT FOR WALKING THE DOG.Did I mention that ;)

Very bright well made product, excellent value for money.
Was a bargain during Amazon Prime Day but eaven normally this is good value for money. It seems to be about as bright as a moped front light perhaps, illuminating the ground clearly for 20m with a fairly broad central beam and weaker wider beam. Ideal as a cycle front light down dark country lanes when combined with a torch holder.Replacement batteries from a reliable manufacturer seem to be difficult to source, particularly on Amazon, and I am waiting to see how long the batteries last for before needing a recharge.I like the fact that you can charge via USB so I can also charge it up in emergencies from my phones's back-up battery.

Bright and durable.
This light replaced a focusing beam Anker that I lost. In the evenings, I’m a pizza delivery driver. The Good:*Three if the four modes are useful. Full intensity is what I use most. Low intensity helps when I’m trying to read a dispatch ticket without blinding myself. Strobe could be useful, but I’ve never used other than playing around. SOS mode? I suppose that there are some who actually know Morse code.*This thing is bright. Retina burning bright. I’m able to see addresses from the car with ease. Several times over the last 1.75 years I’ve used this light to shine in the faces of people approaching me whom I didn’t want to be near. I didn’t need the strobe mode. The intensity of the light alone is a deterrent.*It’s tough. I’ve dropped it a lot. I believe that the depth of the recessed lens has kept the lens from cracking. I’ve been surprised a couple of times that it didn’t break.*Battery life is pretty dang good. I use the light on full intensity for short intervals. 15-20 times a night for a few minutes, 5 nights a week. I get a full week, at an absolute minimum, from a full charge.*USB charging has saved me hardship when the battery is going dead. The light will start flashing when it’s about to die giving a little bit of warning before blackout. I’m able to charge the light in the car as I’m driving. It’s a slow charge, but it works in a pinch. I use my ac phone charger to get a complete charge. The LED changes from red to green when charge is complete. To charge the light, the back cap unscrews and the USB plugs into the back of the camera body. The cap is tethered to the body by elastic string; it can be a little awkward, but I’ve never dropped the cap between the seats because if it. For me, it’s essential.*The beveled end caps hurt when you need them to. This light is designed to be protection of last resort. Unfortunately, I’ve once had to poke and twist with the light. It’s effective.*Water resistance is good. I’ve used this light in the rain a lot (I live in Florida). It’s never been submerged, though.I’ve no complaints about this light. I’ve beat the hell out of it and it has saved my hide more than once. Cheers, Anker.

MIGLIOR ACQUISTO MAI FATTO!
Prodotto FAN-TA-STI-CO! 1300 lumen fino all'ultimo! Vale ogni centesimo speso! La modalità Low è due torce normali assieme, il fascio è lungo, ben proiettato e illumina ad ampio raggio! La modalità strobo vi darà le crisi epilettiche e l'SOS andava bene pure a quelli di Lost! Compratela!
