Works really well.
These are great for different rooms where the wifi is not to good, our home seems to have a lot of metal in, so we couldn’t use the WiFi in the conservatory till we put this in, now we use it all the time in there.

Good but will it last long!
The first one I purchased failed after a couple of years but worked well prior. Decided to replace it as the deal was good. Fitted in minutes and paired with WiFi easily to give good coverage in the garden. Will have to see if the life of this one is better.

Boosts wifi
Eady to install and set up. Has improved wifi in weaker areas of property.

Works well
Frees up sockets but would be nice if it was 5Ghz as this is 2.4Ghz too provide better speeds

Painfully slow!
These do a fantastic job extensing your wifi network, but that's about it. I've attached 2 images here...... One is connected to my regular broadband router, and the other is upstairs in our house connected to the WiFi extender. It's taken a 400+ mbps speed broadband and slowed it down to a unusable 2 mbps speed. The plug socked it's self gets very warm around the LED, it's actually hot to the touch which doesn't instill confidence at all. We fitted 3 of these and all of them were hot to the touch a day after installing. Value - yes they are cheap, but the WiFi speeds they push out are unusable so it makes it a pointless purchase unfortunately. A real shame as visually they look really smarty, but clearly they don't work as intended. I'll be returning for a full refund.

Why are heavy circuit wires so infelxible.
Why can't life be easy ? I'm no electrician, but I ought to be able to wire a power socket, but . . . . . Three earth wires, three neutral and three live, none of which want to flex because they're really heavy solid copper, plus working in a confined space with holes you can't see that that simply don't want to takes these copper rods. If you could secure the wires to something akin to electrical connection blocks so you can see what you're doing that then just slot into place somewhere on the face plate life would be so much easier. Working on a patent. The wifi connection was easy to make but did coincide with a fault on the wifi controlled HIVE smart boiler.

would recommend. 100 percent.
this works very well.take the time to read and understand the instructions,(do not skim) and its very easy to set up. If in doubt find a grandkid. They'll have it up and running quicker than you can say 'thanks'. THIS IS NOW A FEW YEARS LATER. NOV 2025. It's still working great. A few hic ops at first, but it's works without any problems for all the years I've had it.
