Looked darker in jar--exact color I wanted however
I was really excited waiting for this foundation to show up in the mail since I was sick of toxic chemicals in my makeup. Once the package arrived, I immediately opened the package and pumped some of it onto the top of my hand. When I first opened the package I was worried since the foundation in the jar looked a lot darker than than it had looked on Amazon. I applied it to my face after washing it however and blended it in with an oval foundation brush. It is exactly the color that I expected! My boyfriend really enjoys the smell of this foundation too so that is an added bonus! He actually commented saying he couldn't tell I was even wearing makeup and that it looked like I naturally had flawless skin. I can tell I will enjoy this make up line a lot. I have just recently switched to all organic make up to try and fix my skin issues that convenience store makeup has caused all these years. It is called "convenience" for a reason (and not because it is good for you). I am pregnant and wanted to ensure that I use only safe makeup products since our skin absorbs around 18% of everything you put on it. So far so good with this product. I've used it for a few weeks and my skin hardly has any breakouts at all now. I do wish it was a few dollars cheaper however. I bought BaeBlu's brow tint powder after liking this foundation. It works well also and I look forward to buying more and exploring the various cosmetics this company offers. Pros: -This makeup is light in coverage for those who like the natural beauty and "I didn't know you had makeup on!" type of look - It smells lightly of sweet vanilla and provides a calming aromatic effect when applied - It is extremely water-based and is good for women with dry skin (after washing your face, I recommend putting on a facial moisturizer and then a primer before applying this for best results) - This is a healthy and safe makeup for optimal all-day makeup wearing. I feel comfortable knowing that if happen to accidentally fall asleep in this makeup, it is not filled with poison and won't clog my pores. Cons: - This foundation is very liquidy and takes several layers of application to the face to cover normal redness in the face - You WILL NEED a makeup setting spray after you finish applying your full makeup with this foundation. It comes off very easily since it is natural and light. - The price isn't convenient - It probably won't last as long since it is very water-based (although I have not had it long enough to know) - When pumping the makeup for application, it is difficult to control how much comes out and I often pump too much without trying Overall, this is a great foundation. I bought this over another organic makeup brand with the same price since it seemed much more of an authentic company that cares about the customer. And you know what? I asked on BaeBlu's website which shade to get and the owner and CEO Moriah herself replied and gave me a very kind and lengthy response via email. She even responded adequately to my 'thank you' reply. I am quite satisfied with this company so far. Sure it is not the price range women are used to for daily makeup, but it is much better than those expensive "luxury" Sephora brands that fill their products with toxic ingredients. I hope this review helps you to make a decision on whether or not to purchase this foundation. This company makes a lot of other healthy organic cosmetics as well so please don't be discouraged!

Excellent foundation
I love this foundation. I've tried other clean/natural brands, and this is the best. It doesn't dry my skin out (unlike Mineral Fusion), and the neutral shades are actually neutral while the warm shades are actually warm (unlike Ilia, where every shade shows up orange, no matter what it looks like online). I mix two shades to match my neutral-warm skin. It's more if an up front investment to buy two, but it's worth it for a great product and a close color match. I don't have oily skin, so the foundation stays put all day. It also has a very light warm scent that my husband loves.

Finally a product that isn't heavy and covers my skin nicely at the age of 53
BaeBlu's Organic Aloe-Based LUX Liquid Foundation is a game-changer! Its natural, vegan, and gluten-free formula feels lightweight yet provides impressive coverage. Made in the USA, it's a guilt-free choice for conscious consumers. The foundation blends seamlessly, leaving a flawless finish that lasts all day. And I kinda feel PRETTY with it on. The bottle is the perfect size for travel and adventures- maybe not as full as I would want. Plus, the added benefits of aloe vera nourish the skin. A must-have for those seeking a high-quality, eco-conscious foundation.

Wonderful foundation, bad packaging
I LOVE this foundation. It has great coverage and is just beautiful. However, the packaging is not great. The pump doesn't work for me so I had to take apart the packaging to access the product. It would be so much better in a simple glass bottle with a screw top!

Smooth and long wearing
This is a very smooth product. It goes on. Really nice. It has good even coloring. It doesn't bunge up or dry up in wrinkles like other liquids sometimes do. I've worn this one for 12-hour shifts at work and it still looks fine. Even though I am tired, it is very good at hiding it.

A quick fix for big quality control issue
The product itself I have enjoyed very much! 5 stars!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I’m a minimalist and don’t use it often, but when I do, I really like it. I’m 52 and this blends into my semi-fair skin really well, not looking dry or accentuating wrinkles. Covers well (I do not like heavy, full coverage, but more of a natural look). Why the one star?🫤⭐️ Like others, I was only able to enjoy it for a short time before the “product ran out.“ But, I could feel the weight of the bottle, and visibly, it looked like there was quite a bit of product left. Frustrated and determined, I decided to try and open the bottle to see what was going on. I succeeded and my results may help you decide what to do if you’re in this predicament or if you even want to purchase. What I found as the pictures will show, is a bottle with no straw to draw the full product up from the bottom. The top part of the pump extends down low enough to get quite a few pumps out, as if it were functioning normally. However, as soon as the product goes down below the top portion of the pump, there was no straw in mine to draw more product, so I have about 8/10 of a product still unused, meaning, I only used 1/5 of it. Definitely a quality control issue. So, not a great value… unless I can access all of it. And here’s how you may choose to do that: pull it apart! Firmly grasp the bottom, clear portion with one hand and the very bottom black strip that meets it with the other. The top black portion merely turns and is not as secure. Anyway, rock the top back-and-forth gently as you pull with some decent force, and it should pop right off, revealing the inner container of foundation screwed into the cap. To access the foundation in the bottle, simply unscrew the clear plastic bottom from the black hard plastic top, counter clockwise (lefty – loosey). It should unscrew easily. Now that you have access to your foundation, you may decide what to do from here. You can look for a straw that possibly detached and then reattach it. If you don’t find one like me, you can either keep it accessible like this to pour sparingly onto a sponge or brush as needed, or put in a different container of your choosing. Hope this was helpful!
