Mista Barista 508887 Refillable Coffee Capsule Suitable for All Nespresso Machines

I don't get the issues that some people have had with this product, especially not being able to close it, it's easy. Just scoop the coffee, use a very fine espresso grind, level it off, pop on the cap and you're good to go. Decent espresso from the first brew.

I tried this with Lavazza and it worked ok, I tried it with illy and it wouldn't work at all, no matter how I tried. Also once you open it, only inside the packaging, it tells you to replace the top once or twice a year.....can't get any replacements on Amazon at present, so not a lot of use. Had to return this as it really wasn't fit for purpose if you can't get the consumables.

Been using these for almost a week now! Looks very well made and strong. Although the lids are of course rubber tops and fragile so be careful. I was surprised that only one lid can be used for espresso and the other, in my case, is redundant as I don't drink lungo. But, where the hell do we buy the lids?? Manufacturer says the lids only go for 100 use then need replacing. . So if u don't sell them then this makes it a very expensive system for refills. If there is a way to purchase then my rating will go 5 star without any doubt as it's a great product. Grind very fine for espresso and freshly too and I found just packing the capsule very slightly tight produces great espresso. I give it a good shake too before so it spreads the coffee evenly or it tends to fluctuate the brew. All in all so much better than nespresso and fresher!

Didn’t perform great to be honest. May have been just me. Good idea though

Despite all the other reviews I managed to get a decent cup of coffee from this using Illy espresso brand coffee.

Completely useless, although a sound concept. The lids don't seal, so I couldn't even insert the capsule into my coffee machine without spilling ground coffee everywhere.
