Galaxy S5 white 16GB

I bought this phone used and I am very happy with it compared to my old phone. I have been using it for roughly 3 weeks now and am hoping I can keep it without issue for at least a year. It runs very quickly which is convenient and avoids frustration which I have had with previous phones. I love the S Health feature in which you can log your daily eating habits as well as sleep, plus an automatic pedometer which can be turned off if not wanted. You can also check your pulse on this as well. The screen is bright and clear, and the auto brightness feature works well and is handy. There are various options in terms of locking the phone. These include a simple swipe, a pattern, a PIN, a password and finally a fingerprint. The phone can register your fingerprints and save them so that you can swipe your finger to unlock it. I personally did not like this feature as it took a few swipes to actually unlock the phone, plus even with this feature you can just type your password in to unlock it. I use a PIN as it is still secure but is quicker than typing a password. My old phone (Motorola Moto G 3rd gen) was only an 8GB model which was frustrating as there was never enough internal storage and it ran slowly. I ended up buying this phone after only 8 months of having the other one due to the storage issue. The 16GB internal storage on this phone is much better and has made a massive difference to the phone speed, although I am sure that it being a different phone also plays a role in this. I have had no storage issues on this phone as of yet and have downloaded a lot of apps. Overall, I really like the phone and would recommend it highly if you are looking for an affordable but decent smartphone.

I bought this for my son who goes through phones like they are toys!! Having had the iPhone 6 which failed him and the samsung S6 which he broke he decided to go back to the S5 which he found to be extremely reliable and amazingly put up with his work which is building and so his phones do go through the mill somewhat. The camera is good, ease of use is fabulous and as I said a really reliable phone. Samsung in my mind far out ways the iPhones and you aren't limited in some of your uses. As there was a warehouse open box deal on this I took a chance and it was as described having just a scuff on the edge. This is the first time I have taken a chance on a warehouse deal and it paid off. A great all round phone and a winner for us.

I purchased this phone a couple of months ago on Amazon from Pod-G-Penguin, and have been extremely impressed with both the service, and the performance of this two year old model. There is a little bit of lag at times, but I think that is expected for a phone of this age, and it certainly hasn't bothered me. My previous Android device was a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, which was a beautiful phone, but I couldn't take the super short battery life, especially when the S6 and up do not come with removeable batteries - the S5 does include a removeable battery and space for an SD card. The phone itself is fully unlocked (or at least it works on the two networks I've tested it on), and the battery lasts a full day (unless I'm having an intense Pokemon Go session, but that's to be expected!) The model number I received is the G900F, and the 4G works flawlessly with my EE sim card. The phone also feels great in hand, it curves perfectly for a comfortable grip - I actually prefer the feel of this to that of my iPhone 6S (I like to flit between Android and IOS). The camera is fine, although not nearly as good as more recent models, and there does seem to be a lot of lag when tapping to view the photo I have just taken. I've heard that these types of lags can be fixed with CyanogenMod, but I have absolutely no experience with rooting phones, so I'm unable to comment on that! On another positive note, this phone is IP67 water and dust resistant. I haven't dunked my phone in water to test this, but it has coped absolutely fine with the recent British summer rain. Seller experience: I would highly recommend Pod-G-Penguin. I purchased the phone via Amazon Prime on a Saturday, and it was promptly delivered on the Sunday in what looked like a generic amazon box. I liked the fact that the packaging disguised what was inside, and upon opening the parcel, I found that the phone was within a bubble envelope, with plastic holding it to the base of the box - it was very well packed! I should also mention that in the fortnight prior to this purchase I bought and returned the same phone on eBay - my eBay purchase wouldn't get past boot up, and the seller was not particularly helpful, so I was feeling rather disheartened when I ordered this one, but I couldn't have asked for a better Amazon experience! The phone is in very good condition, just as described and came with stickers on the back, stating who had checked the phone, the condition and whether it was unlocked, this immediately gave me confidence that the phone would be in good working order. Apologies for rambling on, I hope this review helps with your decision making :)

I ordered two, one turned on quicker than the other, but no problems (so far) Back camera is a little better than the face facing one it would seem ***UPDATE 14 Feb 19*** Obvious that these phones have had water damage of some sort. My video camera's sound dont work very well its extremely quite and ive check settings it should be fine and I've had complaints from friends saying my voice goes quite and sounds bubbly. My other half's one seems to be fine but ONCE it deleted his sentences while typing. Still can't complain for the price they are very well done. I can still listen to music wirelessly and though headphone so I am still happy. *****6 April 2019***** Battery life is fading quicker, phone loves to freeze at the moment and "trip out" opening and closing app tabs repetitively - have noticed this only happenes when the phone is hot and has been used more than I normally do in a day. Happens also when playing games; it gets hot whilst on charge too.

Phone arrived very fast. I replaced my SONY Z1 with G5 only because Sony could not sort battery discharging problems. At the moment phone looks like a good choose for money. If you are using phone to call, text and check your email or social network it's more then enough. Build quality is not so good as Sony's. It doesn't feel very seriously when you keep it in hands. With out a case it's very slippery. SAMSUNG letters that are stamped on the back of the phone seams that they are not well glued to the body, so I lost N, but luckily i found it and managed to put it back. Good thing about this phone is that you can replace your battery your self, and they don't cost much in case you will need to do this in the future.

i ordered this phone only because it was amazon assured however after 10 days the phone has stopped working!!! after 10 days of normal use the screen started to glitch however i could get some use out of it if i kept pressing the power button on the right however now its constantly glitching! i ordered this phone as an immediate replacement as my old S5 stopped charging due to a corroded charging port. Now ive had to go back to using my old phone and i'm literally just using this phone to charge my battery!

Preowned Samsung S5 16GB White from atmtraders. A beautiful phone with a range of great features: slow motion video record, expandable memory, android 5.0, good gaming, multi tasking, great camera, Shealth and heart rate sensor, lots of cool apps. Battery needed to be exchanged due to a fault but atmtraders were wonderful and replaced the faulty battery with a brand new one. They refunded my postage and gave me a free replacement charger. They were respectful and patient. Excellent customer service. I trust them to do business with them anytime. A good choice to buy preowned mobiles at competitive prices. Premetto che non sono un esperto di telefoni, quindi la mia è un'opinione prevalentemente soggettiva. A seguito di aver letto le recensioni qua presenti, ho optato per comprare il telefono direttamente da Amazon, modello bianco, con accessori a parte nello stesso ordine, e infatti mi è arrivato tale e quale alla descrizione, senza branding, e impacchettato assieme agli accessori, soltanto due giorni dall'acquisto. Ho seguito ogni suo spostamento dalla partenza alla consegna e infatti ho cecchinato il postino dalla finestra. Per quanto riguarda l'hardware... L'estetica dell'S5 è appetibile e sobria. Bello il retro perlato e ruvido, belli gli angoli metallizzati, e belli i due tasti "recenti" e "indietro" touch e che si illuminano solo quando serve, così non mi danno fastidio, specie al buio. Lo schermo è HD e la fotocamera ha 16mpx con flash e autofocus (che non sempre mette a fuoco immediatamente, ma in generale ti puoi fidare) e 4x di zoom. Fa video in HD e ha fotocamera frontale per i selfie e per rifarsi il trucco. L'altoparlante è dietro ed ha una discreta potenza considerando che è piccolo come un unghia. Gli auricolari inclusi sono potenti e hanno dei buoni bassi, e sono del tipo "in-ear" ovvero da inserire all'interno dell'orecchio, come i tappini, che a volte da fastidio, specie dopo un lungo utilizzo, ma con il vantaggio di affievolire i rumori esterni (ottimo quando vuoi farti i cavoli tuoi in santapace). Per avere una via di mezzo basta infilarli a metà, senza spingerli dentro, così da mantenere l'udito pieno, e danno meno fastidio. Sono anche dotati di controlli remoti di volume e play/pause/answer call che ti permettono di mettere in pausa la musica e di rispondere alle chiamate, e del microfono, così da non aver problemi a fare telefonate hands-free con il telefono in tasca. Il telefono pesa poco, non stanca granché tenerlo in mano, nonostante le dimensioni. Con tutta la mascherina integrale riesco facilmente a metterlo in tasca e maneggiarlo con una mano. Ha diversi sensori sparsi in giro. Tanto per cominciare quello di prossimità, le due camerine accanto alla fotocamera frontale, che rilevano presenza di oggetti vicini (qualsiasi, incluse mani, faccia, sportellino della mascherina...) e il loro movimento (utile per i gesti). Poi c'è l'infrarosso, utile per la funzione telecomando, quello di gravità per rilevare i movimenti e l'orientamento del telefono, e poi quello del battito cardiaco (sensore a pressione accanto al flash, basta metterci il polpastrello), quello delle impronte digitali, barometro, e fotosensibile. Insomma se impostato bene puoi scorrere la musica a gesti, riconosce se stai guardando lo schermo o no e quindi si mette in pausa e/o si spegne, e altre interazioni eccitanti In riassunto, è un gran bel telefono, e conserva i punti di forza della linea galaxy, il peso non eccessivo, la moddabilità, le linee sobrie. Infatti apprezzo il piccolo dettaglio che il telefono può essere aperto, avente una batteria estraibile, una scheda microSD, e microSIM. Non sopporto l'idea di un telefono non apribile, memoria solo integrata, e niente possibilità di cambiare batteria. Il mio prossimo ordine sarà la batteria di ricambio, perché il telefono mi dura una decina di ore, usato al massimo con musica, apps, internet, sensori, quindi dalla mattina al pomeriggio. Per quanto riguarda il software... Avevo enormi aspettative su Android 4.4, dato che ero rimasto al 2.4 con il Desire, e avevo provato per una settimana l'S4, quindi speravo in nuove chicche eccitanti. Non sono stato deluso totalmente, ma in alcuni punti mi ha un pò lasciato nel dubbio. In 5 anni ovviamente siamo andati avanti di brutto nella tecnologia, e ci sono funzioni molto interessanti in Android 4.4. Tra l'altro, non appena ho registrato la prima wi-fi (non ce l'ho a casa) mi ha scaricato Android 5, quindi, ancora più avanti. La prima istallazione è abbastanza semplice, c'ho messo 5 minuti. Le varie funzioni sono quasi tutte intuitive, quindi ho letto i tutorial solo di quelle che non avevo mai sentito nominare, tipo NFC, Touch sensitivity, Ultra risparmio energetico... Insomma ci sono tante belle cose con cui divertirsi e sbizzarrirsi, per non parlare delle apps di terzi che chi più ne ha più ne metta. Elenco solo le cose che mancano o che mi danno proprio fastidio. Parlando in comparativa con il Desire, e quindi Android 2.2/2.4... - controlli rapidi per il blocco schermo e altre funzioni di sistema. Prima era personalizzabile con un semplice widget di terzi, e così potevo disattivare il pattern per quando ero a casa, e riattivarlo quando uscivo, in un sol tocco. Ora devo utilizzare trecento apps di terzi per fare lo stesso procedimento, perché il software attuale non ha toggles facili da usare, ma una sola impostazione che è ON sempre. Quindi come spegni lo schermo si attiva il blocco ogni volta e per staccarlo devi staccare tutto, non esiste pausa temporanea. Stesso vale per esempio per la GPS. Ci sono dei metodi tramite varie apps di terzi per circumnavigare queste mancanze, e trovare un setup ideale richiede tempo. Io ancora ci sto lavorando, ma penso di aver trovato un buon sistema, che uso in concomitanza con la prossima... - schermo ON-OFF a seconda della flip-cover Sì, c'è la S-view, ma costa 3 volte più di quella che ho io, non mi piace esteticamente, e non c'è rosso fuoco. S-view ha la funzione integrata di accensione e spegnimento schermo, tramite un sensore dedicato. Per replicare questa funzione con una cover di terzi ho dovuto istallare apps che usano il sensore di prossimità. L'unico problema che ho dovuto circumnavigare è che si attiva il blocco schermo ogni volta che si spegne lo schermo. Ho trovato un app che impedisce questo comportamento e si limita a spegnere lo schermo, così posso tenere il blocco tramite impronte digitali ad attivazione ogni 5 minuti e con tasto OFF laterale. Riguardo al controllo rapido del blocco schermo, uso una widget che mi manda subito alla pagina di selezione dei blocchi schermo, così posso subito scegliere fingerprint e attivarlo o disattivarlo. Ho scelto appunto questa invece che pattern o password perché ogni volta dovrei registrarne di nuove, non esiste un semplice toggle ON/OFF ma ogni volta è un RESET. Invece per fingerprint è un toggle dato che le impronte restano registrate nel sistema. - Mi manca il flash selettivo. Sul desire aveva tre intensità, e con un app di terzi potevo controllare l'intensità a comando. Adesso c'è un solo settaggio unico. Non è un problema perché si può sempre utilizzare lo schermo come torcia, e lì si hanno infinite opzioni, ma è pur sempre qualcosa che avevo e che ora mi manca. Basta, non mi viene in mente altro di negativo o comunque non positivo. Per il resto infatti sono innamorato del telefono e le varie funzioni sono tutte da scoprire divertendosi. Spero sia una recensione utile, se pure logorroica, come lo sono state utili per me le altre che ho letto proprio qua. Buoni acquisti a tutti voi!

J'ai acheté un Samsung Galaxy S5 vendu par Elite GSM. Très bon vendeur. Le téléphone est arrivé très bien emballé, en très bon état, neuf et avec tout le contenu de la boîte. De plus le prix proposé par Elite GSM était inférieur aux autres vendeur. Au niveau du téléphone, celui-ci est excellent. Tant au niveau performances que appareil photo et design. Le plastic reste à peine dommage sur un téléphone comme cela mais n'est absolument pas dérangeant à l'utilisation. Il est bien débloqué et capte la 4G, le lecteur d'empreintes digitales fonctionne bien. L'autonomie est également au rendez-vous puisque le mobile peut fonctionner deux jours entiers sans être rechargé, à condition bien sûr de na pas l'utiliser trop intensément. Pour ma part, je suis très satisfait pas ce téléphone Samsung qui est complet et très agréable à l'utilisation. Quant au vendeur, Elite GSM est parfait.

Es un buen terminal, fluido, con una excelente cámara y varios sensores bastante útiles. Pero no ha cumplido mis expectativas en cuanto a la duración de la batería, que era una de las razones por las cuales me decidí por él. Si lo pongo en ultra ahorro durante la noche, al volver a modo normal, parece que se traga un 20%. Yo vengo de un Note y estuve dudando entre éste y el Note 3 de precio muy similar. Me decidí por éste por una mayor velocidad del procesador, que no se nota demasiado y porque es de fabricación más reciente, pero echo de menos la pantalla del Note y las cosas que se pueden hacer con su Stylus, aunque en el S5 se puede utilizar un lápiz normal para tomar notas. También, se supone que la cámara es superior. Pero el almacenamiento y la memoria es inferior. En resumen, me arrepiento de mi elección, pero no se pueden probar dos a la vez. Como inconveniente diré que, a veces, cuando llevas utilizándolo un rato, como medida hora seguida, se calienta demasiado. La batería no dura más de un día, uso normal, es decir algo de Internet, búsqueda y lectura de prensa, correo, llamadas,y whatsapp, sin juegos. Y, por supuesto, como en todos los Samsung, vienen instaladas aplicaciones que no queremos utilizar ocupando espacio y no podemos desinstalar. Por cierto, no tiene radio FM,

Commandé sur DMCO reçu rapidement, et c'est bien un G900F (4G). Y a des applications deutsche telekom dessus mais on peut les désinstaller. Pas de problème avec une carte Sosh. Attention faut une micro SIM. L'écran est impressionnant, et l'APN vraiment top! Ya que la surcouche touchwiz que je ne trouve pas très jolie, Énormément d'options, pas forcément toutes utiles mais bon,.. ya des bonnes idées. Au final, vraiment, c'est un très très bon smartphone.
