Strong…not cheap….won’t seal
Bought this well known brand to fix a few things around the place. It’s good and works well on most things it they’re clean and grease free. If it’s wood, moisten one surface first. One problem with the bottle is that the top does not seal properly so the next time you use it the nozzle is blocked! You either have to cut a bit off the nozzle or poke around with an old dart to remove the rock hard residue! Serious design fault there Loctite.Result are good though, 95% perfect. But dear oh dear- so little glue for so much money!Ok, I’d use it again, but seriously consider others in a squeeze tube with a proper screw top, and better value for money...Conclusions: good stuff once you get it out but a bit too pricey.

I use for my false nails
I recommend this glue if you wear false nails. The usual glue that comes pre-packed with false nails is normally too watery but still the equivalent "strength" of super glue, just less effective. This glue just means I can wear cheap press-on nails that stay.Super glue was first invented to use on skin to close open wounds. Try to avoid your skin, but if not, just wash off the glue or peel it off when it's dry.1. I recommend buffing your real nails first to make them smooth.2. Lay out the correct size false nails you'll be using - before you start. Use each false nail you've chosen to push back your cuticles, so they'll sit more naturally in the nail beds.3. Apply a small amount of the glue in the centre/ especially near the cuticle of your real nails - on each of your nails on your writing hand4. Wait 30 seconds for the super glue to get tacky. No longer or it'll just dry.5. Then apply your false nails. Press them down for about 20 seconds each.6. Do the same for your other hand.**Try to avoid your skin but if not it'll be OK. Just don't touch anything else with glue on your skin.**7. Ideally, wait at least 30 minutes before filing the fake nails if you need to, so they're well stuck and don't come loose when you do.8. Properly secure the super glue lid after so the glue doesn't dry out.9. Peel off any glue that tries to the top before application.10, Keep the glue in your bag for if/when a nail falls off.Preferably buff the glue off each time before re-applying with glue - rather than adding more glue to the dried up glue.11. Remove the false nails as you would when you want to take them off. Then buff the residual glue off again. Then apply a nice oil, like olive oil to strengthen your nails again.I do this every week and my nails are weaker when I first remove my false nails of course, but they're OK.I haven't used this glue for fixing anything to be able to recommend for that. I find this glue to be more effective than cheaper super glues I have tried.

A well known brand glue at a good price with a good nozzle
Loctite super glue is a well known brand, and did not disappoint. I always find the nozzle dispenser a little on the large size, for some of the very fine work and repairs that I carry out, but having said that, the nozzle on this particular bottle is the finest and most accurate I have found so far. As for the glue, it is pretty standard. Sticks fingers brilliantly, and most other things very well. If only someone could invent a glue that sticks every day items, as strong as it sticks skin!

Great glue - fixed my knob!
Imagine my shock and disappointment when driving one day my knob broke in my hand! My gear knob that is... The top cap fell off exposing the delicate head beneath, where the old glue had turned all crusty and dry. It wasn't a pleasant driving experience with that in my hand. I decided I had to find some super glue to fix my broken knob!Later that day when fixing myself a cool beverage from the fridge, a ceramic magnet memento from a recent holiday crashed to the tiled floor, splitting in two.I went straight to Google to see where I could get some super glue quickly. My local B&Q store had some for the best part of £10. Imagine that - for a tiny bottle! I turned to Amazon in my hour of need - and lo and behold found this sticky saviour. A few clicks later and it was on its way to me!Applying the glue was incredibly simple due to the long nozzle. A word of caution though - it's a tiny bottle of very powerful stuff so make sure to wear gloves or have very steady hands, or you're going to lose some skin unsticking yourself.A bit of gluing later and I'm delighted that my knob is now fully restored and intact - as is my magnet. Thanks Amazon!

if not the best superglue you can buy
Value for money here is insane. I have seen the small 3g ones go for nearly this price so when I seen a 10g bottle go for this price, I decided to get it. Loctite glue is one, if not the best superglue you can buy. It is so universal that you can pretty much stick anything to anything and it will last a long long time. One word of warning. DO NOT get it on your skin, or your fingers as if you get your fingers stuck together, with this glue them you might have a trip to the hospital. I have seen this happen before and it looked painful for the person.Amazing glue, even more amazing price. Just keep the lid on when you're not using it as it will harden up if you do not. This glue starts to set within seconds as the glue and the air mix together which starts the chemical reaction. This is why it never goes hard in the bottle ;)
