Rubbish index system that is too complex to work
Bulky book with lots and lots of different 'ism' movements but the index is extremely difficult to work when looking for a specific artist or art movement. Because it is not user friendly I seldom use this book. A waste of money in this respect which is a shame because I think some of the text is quite well written.

Art timeline with dates and references if anyone interested in arts and its history. Also helpful if someone is doing Contemporary Art, this would help with Art timeline.

A well structured timeline of art movements from 1900 forward, this text offers examples of works for each period and refined information. I have found it very useful while studying art history.
