Q: how high is this falcon

About 18" high.Have had the falcon for a year, the colour is fading, but I haven't had a pigeon any near my pond since I purchased it. Really works.

Q: Does it scare wood piegeons off?

I love it but my pigeons (not wood pigeons) are not bothered, I have it on the ground so maybe if I put it on a pole up higher it might deter

Q: Need it to frighten away ferrel pigeons of a town centre roof will it work?

I bought one to chase pigeons from my garden and it seems to work, I have it semi-hidden behind rockery and flowers so as not to look to out of place. Try also having shiny or reflective objects dangling EG: CD's, that works ok as well!

Q: Does it keep wood pigeons at bay.?

At first we thought there were less pigeons but they appear to have come back. We moved it to a different position but then it looked an eyesore in the garden!
