UPDATED 03/16/2024//****I've been using Thompson Chain Reference Bibles since I accepted Jesus as my Savior in 1984, but this Thompson is simply wonderful. This new layout has a very noticable and interesting change, however, it's still easy to follow and one I will definitely give as gifts. Many of the alphabetical, numerical index and chain topics have been visually reduced in how it's displayed but, that has not affected the way the outlines, or study chain references are displayed. The concordance is reduced and not as thorough but the chain reference remains strong. I wasn't expecting this new Thompson to be so different in it's layout, but I love it. I almost forgot to mention the handy addition of a notes section, but you may need to use a cushion to press on to protect your pages because they are thin, and your printing can leave deep indentions.

The Thompson Chain bible is the best and I've used it for years. I'm just disappointed that they changed the formatting from what the old Kirkbride bibles used to be. That was a poor decision on their part.

I have used Thompson Chain-Reference Bibles for years, and this updated version has been a help to my daily study. I really enjoy the large print and that the bible lays flat.

It was perfect for my husband. The size is a little larger than we wanted but overall, he needed the size of the print. Great buy.
