Fit for purpose - taste ok

This is a great product and has actually helped with my dehydration headaches ( I do take another coconut electrolyte drink too) so I technically get 2 a day instead of the 1 and that helps me a lot. This product does take effect quite quickly and at less than £5 special price it's definitely worth the price, it arrived quickly too which was a nice surprise. My only downfall with this is the cola flavour, it smells just like cola and does taste of cola to some degree but very sickly and synthetic cola taste, ( of course that's to be expected though) so I would personally recommend the citrus flavours, as those are way nicer in my opinion, but it's nice to try a new flavour.

As others have noted it is like a flat cola. The taste takes a bit to get used to. It is not a bad taste. Here in Australia the normal water bottles are 600ml, so just take a dip or two of water, break the tablet in half (so it fits in the opening), wait a few minutes and enjoy.Caffeine is 75mg about half the strength of an energy drink (based on 500ml. Same caffeine as a 250ml red bull) or the same as a cup of coffee. Since it is sugar free you don't get a crash from it.Preferable to either Powerade or Gatorade. Less sodium, but more of other minerals - calcium, magnesium and potassium.Summary - great for hydration and provides a mild caffeine boost that is not overwhelming. Sugar free so no crash. Flavour takes some getting used to, but it isn't badI will buy this again. This is my 4th order. 1st was 3 tubes, 2nd and 3rd were each 5 tubes. This last order was 8. Bear in mind I'm shipping to Australia so I need to keep the orders cost effective.

Looks like dirty water, and tastes like flat cola, even in sparkling waterAll that said, I think it did do what it says (although i can’t say if i felt more “caffeinated”), but there are better flavours from SiS, and the appearance of the water does make you think if you really want to be drinking it!

When plain water just won't cut it, Science in Sport has got you covered! The pill dissolves beautifully. Leaving a delicious source of nutrients and electrolytes in its wake. It really doesn't affect my sleep quality. No stomach issues either. Its cheap enough to subscribe to a bottle monthly. The high quality is that good that I have multiple bottles!

Im a road cyclist and use this product everytime I ride. Its easy to drink and tastes like cola, so it has that tendency to sit in your mouth with its sweet residue and flavour, but it your ride often, and on long distances I take plain water too, so that I can change the taste in my mouth. However its worth noting that ive had other flavours too and they all do it, not just the Cola.
