I like this liner but does fade over the day. Sometimes it smudges if I put too much on the bottom lid. But I’ve managed to make it work for me.

I have the Basic Brown and Taupe eyeliners. The pencils last forever, but I find they drag a little bit when you put them on. However, if they were any creamier, the color would run. It stays in place all day. I think the Taupe should be renamed "I'm naturally beautiful" because it enhances and beautifies your eyes and overall look without anyone knowing why. I love it. Pair it with Jane Iredale's eyebrow kit and the cheek stain in the glass bottle from Benefit cosmetics for a natural, pretty look. (I'm 60 btw, fair skin, blue eyes and plenty of laughter lines 😃 and this look freshens me right up!)

I decided to get this eyeliner in taupe and the color is absolutely beautiful; I have light blue eyes so most eyeliners look a little too stark against my eyes/skin, so this was perfect! Or so I thought. I could tell right away that this is one of those eyeliners that you have to go back several times to build up the color, but unfortunately for me, it will he color never got more concentrated after the second pass. Also, I have an issue with my eyeliners fading away super early and this one does the same thing. By noon it is barely even then anymore. I am not sure if that is a “me” problem or an issue with the product. Overall, the color is super flattering and I really wanted this to become my staple eyeliner. Sadly this can’t be the case unless they reformulate the product. I hope they do.

This is a long lasting pencil that doesn’t smudge. It’s a pencil that has to be sharpened about every 4th or 5th time you use it. It’s comparable to the much more expensive Estée Lauder eyeliner pencil.

I have sensitive eyes, this is the only eyeliner that don’t make my eyes itch and I can put them in my waterline. The pencil is soft going on.Drawback is it smudges more easily but I’ll take that in for the comfort and lack of chemicals.

It was smooth on the eyelid, and the color was basic brown with no sparkle like in the picture. I fell asleep for like 6 hours with it on and no smudging or transfer at all. It didnt move. So thats what im looking for in an eyeline. Good color, easy to use, and please dont budge. So this one wins. Id love it to be less expensive. Cause 20 bucks for a pencil liner is just excessive to me, but ill have it forever cause i dont use eyeliner that much. Im ok with this though, glad i bought it.

I didn’t realize it, but I became allergic to my old eyeliners I used for years. My left eye was always watering from the outside corner, all day every day. I chalked it up to allergies, even though it wasn’t allergy season yet. Jane Iredale was a line that was recommend to me by someone and I decided to give it a try. Well, I am in love! My eye stopped watering the very first day I used it! It goes on nicely and stays on all day. I also bought the blush and mascara and am equally as happy. So glad I decided to give it a shot! My eyes are so happy that I did!

I have used this product for years and have always loved it. I had to sharpen the last two pencils down by over half before it would work properly.

Jane Iredale eye liners just work, they do their job very well. Easy to sharpen, smooth to draw on without being too sharp, the colour release is great, and it stays all day until it's time to remove, where it comes off without a fuss. Excellent product.

Arrived quickly, well-packaged and with no postage charge (a big bonus!). I have used this product for many years, since working in a beauty salon where I got it for wholesale price plus VAT, and was SO pleased to find it on Amazon for a not-unreasonable price, given the quality of the product.

Love this eye liner, colour like a kind of grey /blue not too harsh and goes on easy.

Love that its something natural going on my eye.
