Do the ends screw off?

Yes they do, I was really pleased with this - looks great though dosnt come with curtain rings so if you need them you have to order separately

Would this pole hold a heavy door curtain

Yes. As a door would be unlikely to require anything like the maximum extension for the pole it would be even stronger as it would be reinforced by much of one pole being slid into the other to shorten it to length. And it's pretty robust to begin with.

I purchased pole but lost fittings could anyone guide me to correct fittings please? There are so many different ones but need to know circumference

can this be mounted on to a ceiling to hang a green screen from on the rails ?

It could be ceiling mounted, it comes with three brackets so you can support it centrally. It’s about 2m long fully extended. If you have a way to hang a green screen from it and it’s the right size then yes.
