Fisher-Price Wonder Pets Fly Boat

Santa brought this to our almost 3 year-old-granddaughter. She absolutely LOVES it. She is a huge Wonder Pets (WP) fan (she is allowed to eatch a couple of 30-minutes shows each day, one in the a.m. then one in the afternoon - usually WP, then Dora; sometimes she will replace Dora with Ruby & Max or Go, Diego, Go but WP must be watched!). In other words, it would be hard for her to not love a WP toy. This item is well-made in the Fisher-Price plastics tradition. The characters look exactly like pictured in the program. Everything fits well and it is just the right size for pretend play but not so big for handling by a little girl (note the three figures do come off too easily - there is just little raised peg-lie places to put them on the Flyboat; I think yet may be good for very young children). With the touch of a button on the side of the boat, it plays a small variety of tunes from the show (We're not too big and we're not too tough but when we work together, we have the right stuff)...it's all about Teamwork! The music/sound is a little loud but we notice this is a toy she does not pick up and place near her ears to hear, so less a concern than some of the louder toys...we expect she will play with this daily for awhile and once she moves on from Wonder Pets it will be given to another child, and so on, through several children~

This is by far my son's favorite toy. And with Wonder Pets toys becomming harder and harder to find. This is definately one worth spending a few extra bucks for. My son plays with this toy everyday, and takes it everywhere with him. It's worth the money.The only drawback I see is the flag and pole. I'm assuming it is meant to be able to put together and take apart, but it is a little annoying that it falls off so easy. But overall, this toy has brought more joy than not, so I'm happy to recommend this.

Its cute. its always shocked me how popular the cartoon is and yet very few toys of it were made... what a strangely missed opportunity... they could've even done dress up characters... I like the toy, this one, but the parts all come off and I get it... the animals put it together,so your kid should too... EXCEPT then you lose all the pieces all the time. Right now the thing is in pieces around my house. SUPER GLUE IT TOGETHER, lol.

My 2 and half year old loves the Wonder Pets and I was excited to buy this for him. Although he loves the toy, he often gets frustrated playing with it. Each of the Wonder Pets attaches to the Fly Boat by matching a small hole in the bottom of the character with a very small plastic spike on the boat. My son was frequently frustrated by his inability to match them up correctly. As an adult, I found it difficult to do so I understand his frustration. Other than that, it is a great toy, very durable, and the sound effects are great.

My two year old loves this toy. It's very durable; the toy has suffered quite a bit of abuse aka being dropped over and over and still lights up, plays the song, and rolls just fine. I find the figures stay on their pegs quite well when being rolled along the floor, however, they are nearly impossible for little hands to put back on if they fall off. All in all it's very cute, my child enjoys it, and it's durable.

This Wonder Pets Fly Boat is so much fun, my granddaughter LOVED it! She is a big fan of Wonder Pets (so is her grannie) and this was just like the icing on the cake. In fact, the figures were the decoration for her 2nd birthday and it was terrific. Awesome, thanks for having it available. There are not many Wonder Pets items out there and I was delighted to find it on Amazon.

Obviously this toy was designed by someone who never watched the show. The Flyboat in the show is made from the ordinary items found in the classroom. A big part of the show is the time when Wonder Pets work together to build the boat - 'Team Work'. The first thing my 3-yr-old son tried to do with the toy is to take it apart and build it back like in the show. The toy is a plasticized, dumbed-down, cheaped-out version of the Flyaboat. The Flyboat in the show is made of a frizbee, erector set sticks, marble, paper, and maker caps. I cannot understand why they could not make the toy to resemble the construction in the show. Obviously the focus went into making it sing. Whoever designed this toy does not udnerstand pre-schoolers who are the taget maket group for this toy. They can sing themselves. They can sing the whole show if you ask them. What they need is to pretend to be Wonder Pets. The toy misses the whole point. It is so overpriced for what it is - it has no educational values and constructed very cheaply. It is very disppointing that Fisher Price will put their name on this toy.

The little guy I bought this for loves it. It seems solid. The only thing is that the mast on the ship comes out very easily, so its always falling off when it is played with, and it doesnt stand straight up, kind of leans to the side when you pop it in. But a two year old owns it and abuses it, so no complaints.
