Great for bobbins (metal or plastic)
These cases are great, but they need a band (elastic or a hairband) around them to keep them shut or they could easily fall open in storage or accidental tipping upside down. Have two boxes. One for my old machine that uses metal bobbins and one for my new machine that uses plastic. Both fit perfectly.

Brilliant for bobbins
I understand the confusion some of the other reviewers have experienced based on description. Thankfully I needed a bobbin holder and realised before purchase that was what this is for.As a bobbin holder, it's brilliant! Very sturdy feeling and separates each bobbin perfectly (unlike my previous case) for ease of use. If I need another, I would happily buy this again and recommend.

Nice storage solution for bobbins.
A nice sturdy storage box which allows me to see my bobbins. Bought with a set of 10 bernina bobbins. Very handy.

Lugs on the box were broken so it is unusable
Plastic lugs were broken - brittle plastic so can see how it might have happened but all boxed up and looked fine so should have been OK. A lot of money for a broken plastic box.

Not what I expected
They both have a clasp but it doesn’t keep the boxes shut. Bit of a pain if you’re storing them on their side.
