Hello. Yes, you could certainly slick your hair back using this wax, as the hold is pretty strong, but it wouldn't look 'wet' if that's the look you're going for. I use it on my son's hair as it makes the hair stick up and look choppy, but still looks quite natural for school. It lasts all day and doesn't smell strong like some other products. Oh, and make sure you soften it slightly with your fingers before you apply as it can sometimes leave clumps of wax in your hair if you're not careful. Hope that's helpful!
