The Pico W is definitely a great drop-in compatible upgrade over the regular Pico. I've had a lot of fun with these; my biggest issue was one of them seems to have power issues, requiring a few resets before working.My only real complaint is the price -- these are more expensive than other vendors like Adafruit, who sell them for $7 with pre-soldered headers or $6 for no headers. I suppose you could look at the higher unit price as covering shipping, but that's a LOT of markup.It's also unclear if "iUniker" had any hand in the manufacturing of these units; they appear to be identical to ones purchased from Adafruit, which are straight from the Raspberry Pi foundation.

This is a great option for permanently adding Wi-Fi to a Pi Pico. I only needed 2 of these, but its nice to have a couple spares for other future projects. They work really well for me, and I haven't had any dropped connections or other issues. If you need to add Wi-Fi, I definitely recommend these modules.

I'm a newbie with the Raspberry pico, so I didn't hesitate to order it when this came up. The package arrived as described, and the components are well-made. Although I don't have much experience with Raspberry, these units were an excellent choice; they worked and were easy to use. I'm pleased and recommend them.

The Raspberry Pi Pico W is a great board for learning and for DIY projects! These boards are easy to program and have plentiful gpio for interfacing with other devices.The easiest way to get started is with micropython. You simply download the firmware from RaspberryPi.org, plug the board into a USB port on your computer, and drag / drop the firmware onto the RPI-RP2 drive that shows up on your computer. In fact, if you plug in the board and wait for it to show up, there is even a link to the site to download the firmware. INDEX.HTM is the name of the file on the drive (see pictures). Once loaded the "drive" disappears and you have to connect using a terminal program. Instructions for this are well documented and available on the same link referenced earlier.There are TONS of tutorials out there so don't be afraid of getting stuck. I have used esp8266 and esp32 boards in the past, and the RPi board has WAY better documentation from the manufacturer.These tiny boards are going to be big, so I'd recommend getting some and learning what you can do with them.Be aware that to interface with other electronics you will need some Soldering skills and some knowledge of how to connect things. There are many resources available online, but as with any dev board this is not for someone who can't use Google to find help.

These are for an older version of Raspberry Pi.But they do exactly what the are intended to do.The modules add Wi-Fi connectivity to Raspberry Pi projects.Perfect. :)

These are great boards for learning about microcontrollers and are reasonably priced. As others have noted, depending on what you want to do with them, you’ll need to know how to solder. Easy to use. Good way to learn a bit about Python as well.

Last couple years I've gotten back into electronics, after so many years away. And I am really liking so man of the new technologies, none more so than the raspberry Pi. Just such a cool device and franchise. These boards are do so much, just amazing. Actually the Pico is becoming one of my faves when it comes to Raspberry Pi because it's so nice and small.These are well made boards, well manufactured with a good fit and finish. Look like the real deal, though I am not sure how to verify that fact. So far they also work just as they should. Nice that the set comes with headers too, if you need them.ONLY issue with this particular package, at the current price of 50 bucks, they are higher then they should be. Like 12+ dollars each. Not quite, but close to double what they should be. I know the world is crazy and electronics can be tough to get, but still other places selling these for better prices. Course, if you are getting free shipping, that can make the price a little better.Except for the price, would recommend.
