Q: What is the advantage / disadvantage of the blacklaser vs the stainless steel keys?

Good quality stainless steel cannot rust. Cheap stainless can. These are likely high quality, so you could literally leave them in your garden all winter for ten years and they wouldn’t rust. The blacklaser, I’m unsure about that finish. But it’s likely carbon steel underneath. Rusted tools are a pet peeve of mine. I own these stainless hex and would recommend them.

Q: Is it worth getting stainless over the normal ones? not expecting too much use out of them and they won’t get getting wet or going near any wet bolts

I would always go with stainless as they will last longer especially if they are kept in a garage or shed. Wera are a top quality brand and always produce great tools.

Q: Are they in silver or black metal?

The material is grey with coloured sleeves on the shafts of the torx keys.

These Wera metric hex keys have been well hi to job so far. Sorry I cannot say any more.
