Allergen Wash Laundry Detergent by Allersearch

So far so good. We purchased the Wash Laundry Detergent and the Pet+ Shampoo together. Even though we already knew that our daughter has some allergy to dogs we took the risk and took in a dog from the rescue home. After a couple of day we realized that it was not going to be easy as my daughter started itching (eyes and nose) and some sneezing. I did a lot of research on the web and decided to give these products a try before deciding if we had to give the dog back or not. We washed everything (throws, curtains, bedding, clothes, etc....)that would go into the washing machine with this detergent. At the same time we bathed the dog (Nika) with the Allersearch Pet+ Shampoo. To maximize the effects of this we also put in place two air purifiers with Hepa filters, one in the main living area and the other in my daughters bedroom where we always keep the door shut. So, even though I cannot be 100% sure that these products are the cure for dog allergy sufferers, but by using them in conjunction with the air purifiers and common sense, I have to say that I am very pleased with the results. My daughter has not suffered a runny nose or sore eye since and only very occasionally sneezes. She cuddles and strokes the dog now and they are bonding nicely.. Very happy indeed...!!!

It is a highly concentrated detergent. It can be used for a long period of time. I use it only for wising the bed linen. It seems to do it job. While the linen is still wet you can feel the light smell of the detergent, however the smell disappears after the laundry is dry. The cup(lid) is a bit small, probably to prevent using too much detergent at a time. It makes the cup a bit dirty after each use.

Works well on dander and dust mites in our experience. I reserve this for fabrics that are in frequent close contact such as bed linen, towels and bed clothes. We also have a HEPA filter vacuum cleaner at home so this isn't our first line of defense against dust mite debris and dander. Extremely sudsy and efficient even in the smallest dose. For use on European front loaders, follow the instructions for the HE (Highly Efficient) machines provided on the side of the bottle. Follow this measure strictly is you don't want to wreck your front loader with suds! 1/3 cup is really actually sufficient for a 5-6kg load even in hard water. Shocking. Makes you wonder why we are pouring gallons of laundry detergent in our usual wash. Only complaint is the intense fragrance but it is still less eye watering compared to Persil's Small & Mighty.

I have been using this for yonks now, there is a very good reason, it works!! There is no one makes better detergent than this for eczema relief, whatever their claims!! Also it seems expensive, but it is concentrated, and so if you use the recommended amount, it lasts a long time, I haven't given any stars for smell, simply because, one of the selling points, for me was that fact, it just smells fresh and clean, I wouldn't use anything else now. Superb!!!

Several months ago I was waking up and experiencing problems with my nose running and eyes watering. I did some research and came across a website which suggested different causes including bed bugs and dust particles. The website suggested Allergen Wash Laundry Detergent was a good and effective detergent to use on bed linen so I bought it. I have washed my bed linen and pillow covers with this detergent and definitely noticed an improvement when I wake up in the morning. I thoroughly recommend this product.

What a shock, very expensive for the amount you get, I had no idea it was such a smallish container, dearest soap power I have ever bought.

A relief to FINALLY be able to wash my clothes without getting itchy nose, runny eyes and wheezy. My husband thinks it smells bit lemony. I think smell is fine. LOVE IT. For YEARS I have been allergic to all the frigging additives in normal detergent. Moved to soap nuts but clothes not getting clean, and it was quite time consuming boiling up the nuts to make a liquid etc.

I am sensitive to moulds and dust, so when they build up on clothing it can be impossible to escape. I definitely noticed an improvement in my allergies after using this as compared to using my normal detergent. For bad items it took a couple of washes. It has a eucalyptus/menthol scent but it's not too strong and fades quickly. Seems to wash ok but I didn't use it on particularly dirty clothes. Sometimes it's all well and good removing the source of the allergen, but the particles are still lingering on your woolly jumpers!

I find this product has a slightly weird smell in the bottle but once it's used you can't detect that..otherwise it is incredible. It made a huge difference in my dust mite allergies overnight. After washing my pillowcase and bedding I can finally breath in the morning. Will keep buying this. It's expensive but worth it.

AMAZING product! I’m super allergic to dust mites and regular detergent just wasn’t cutting it for linens. I already see a difference with this stuff. It’s a little pricy but worth the money for sure!

Excellent product. Feels like we are conquering the dust mite allergens. Along with mattress enclosure and anti-allergen dust spray for other areas, this product is essential for those who want to reduce allergens in your life.

Does the job! I wish it would be less expensive for this amount

Seems to be really working with getting rid of dust mites on bedding and clothes , nothing else works and tried everything . However this is so overpriced !
