Lock & Lock 6 x Airtight Rectangular Food Storage Containers 26oz

3rd time of ordering this product, very pleased, arrived much quicker than expected.

I've made a commitment to healthy living for like the 501st time in my life. I bought these so I could batch cook, but be assured I could take my meals to work or to friends' houses if we were eating together on a 'Bring your own or order in' arrangement. They are airtight, leakproof, microwave and dishwasher safe as they claim, as well as being robust and just the right size to cram loads of vegetables in. To give you an idea, you can divide 500g (dry weight) of cooked pasta between the four of them and still have space for a lentil bolognese recipe that serves four. Very happy with my purchase!

We own and use a wide variety of Lock & Lock storage boxes in several shapes and sizes both larger and smaller than this set, a few that are ideal for breakfast cereals and another for oil, that are mostly used for dry ingredients as well as packets and bags of foods that are or could be easily damaged by moisture. Strangely, this 800ml size has not previously featured in the collection. We also own a small number of boxes whose manufacturers 'borrowed' the idea and chosen either when Lock & Lock equivalents were not available when needed or to store non-food items where a lower quality or reduced air- or water-tightness is a non-issue.The "6 X Lock & Lock 800ml Food Container Rectangle Container Lunch Box HPL816" were required to store convenient quantities of a variety of dried fruits that were supplied in large packs and adequate for a week or so's needs; the larger bags were sealed using either adhesive tapes, elastic bands or metal clips as appropriate to keep the remainder as fresh as possible while stored in larger 9 litre L&L storage boxes.These boxes will be stacked, either 2- or 3-high, in the fridge for daily use. With the range and its features now well-known after many years of ongoing use, their dependability and air- and water-tight properties can be trusted.

I brought these to store raw chicken to stop the fridge from smelling and they work great!

Arrived promptly and well packaged. Plastic boxes seem to be good quality pretty much as expected. They're a very good size to replace those little boxes you get from takeaway places which is what we've been using for packed lunches so far...

Use these and the slightly larger (deeper) 1 litre versions to take lunches to work. Had them about a year and they have been used a lot and been through the dishwasher many times and the seal is still good. It's a brand I trust not to have lunch leak out of the box and into my bag! We don't often microwave them, but you can do. The clips can be quite tight to do up sometimes, but it's a good seal.

Have a drawer full of vaious sizes of these boxes. Have never had one fail. No problem in dishwasher, comes out same shape and locks after many washes. Brilliant for any partially used food from whipped cream, half an onion or grated cheese. Use in the fridge, freezer or worktop. Keeps sliced bread beautifully.The only irritant for my wife is the clacking sound by four when I open the one I keep nuts in while watching TV; Oh, and the munching that follows and then relief at the four closing clacks.

Tried and tested product which I have purchased on several occasions over the years and I would not buy any other brand of storage containers. They are just as described and last for a long time. Easy to keep clean and do not stain. I really do like them and have a cupboard full and use them all the time. My thanks for a very reliable product.

Excellent for bodybuilding meal prep. They close snugly and stay shut tightly. I tend to prep 30-40 meals and freeze them individually in these containers. To heat up my meals, I pop them in the microwave for 4-5 minutes (make sure you unlock the cover on all sides before microwaving). The cover will warp very slightly if microwaved, but because of the locking mechanism on each side, the warping does not effect the tight cover to case connection. Even after the cover slightly warps and after multiple uses, these containers still stay tightly shut. Also, they fit in cold storage carrying cases such as 6 Pack Fitness. Wie immer super Qualität. Wir haben bereits sehr viele Dosen im Schrank. Für das wöchentliche Meal Prep sehr gut geeignet. Einfrieren ist auch kein Problem.
