MitreBond Aerosol Activator and Superglue Adhesive

Fantastic stuff, just put the adhesive one the one item and spray a little one the other item and join the two together. Instant fix. Super glue used to be like that but now they have made it so "safe" it does not stick anymore but this stuff means you can get on with the job instantly.

It’s called mummy glue. Why? It simply works!When the most favourite cup falls down and needs to be used right now again, stick, clean, drink, happy!!!And when there is a board to be fixed back into its place on the ceiling… Just stick it on. And it lasts. Right. Now.Only be careful. It sticks right now. So do use it with outmost care. There is a reason I have a slightly different one in my outdoor first aid kit. It glues everything!

Great stuff. If you ever use 'super glue' type products that having activator just makes life so much better. A can will last you forever.The glue itself suffers with the same problem as all bottles like this, eventually the applicator opening gums up or the lid glues itself on through sloppy use but the can of activator is what you're really after. The glue sets on contact and means you can quickly fix fiddly bits that would otherwise break off again trying to hold them.The set of the glue seems to not be affected negatively in any way and I have used this to fix toys, keep picture nails in walls and hold construction materials together until normal wood glue sets or nails can be driven in. Really useful.

This particular adhesive is excellent it’s very easy to use and within 10/15 seconds it has bonded the pieces together. Very reasonable in price and it arrived in no time at all.

I have had disappointing results with superglue but the accelerator makes a lot of difference as you only have to hold together the two parts you are gluing for a few seconds. Good for quick hold used in conjunction with other glue e.g. cascamite. I have also used it to hold wood together before inserting screw when a clamp couldn't be applied easily. Not suitable for every application but dead handy and good value.

I never used two component super glue, but this one is just mind blowing, you spray on it and it glued instantly. It’s extremely strong and works impressively well. I used it mainly to glue plastics of all sorts of kind.
