Aluminum is a pain. Tring to weld with substandard tools. This had the best ratings. I am not good enough to tell you about it. But I trust seller and company and that's sometimes all the help we need

This is garbage, avoid. Others have noted (and boy do I wish I saw before buying) you can literally melt out the aluminum under it without it wetting.I literally had better luck brazing with a freshly cleaned metal surface than with this added.

This was purchased as an experiment to see if I could improve the 'wetting' of my aluminum brazing rod. I had mixed results bonding aluminum to aluminum with that generic aluminum brazing rod (reviewed elsewhere) and so I thought I'd try this flux. It works best when mixed with water and applied as a paste per the instructions; the flame of the torch just blows away the white powder. Once I could apply this flux to the work area, I could not tell any difference in the quality of my brazing joints. I will not fault the flux, as my experience, working temperature, and working material were all variables in my results. It was a good experiment but didn't improve my work. YMMV.

Really bad product, between this and the bracing rods I got , I don't know which one is worse.

I like to add flux when I’m brazing with any type rod. I used this on an aluminum manifold opening I filled in. Worked great, could see the surface impurities bubble up and braze flowed easily. Highly recommend
