Great player for the price
Sound is good, nice and loud, I dont need my little pocket amp for this player. some folks have said navigating menus / functions is not great, but I found once you figure out things like the manual says press `M` during playback to navigate folders and submenu, it actually means press the up area of the outer ring shaped button... very minor and easy to figure out, took me all of 3 attempts and then i knew. I`ve had at least 7 different mp3 players since 2000 timeframe, starting with the Eisen Dap, then Iriver I7 etc.. this is my second favorite player of them all for value, sound and a good experience with it. use rechargable batteries ;)

Compact, reliable and quality mp3 player
What can I say other than it's a fantastic little mp3 player. It's basic, but that's exactly what I wanted. No bells and whistles like you get with a smartphone. Another bonus for me is that it's powered by a AAA battery, so no mains or USB connection needed to keep it playing - just buy spare batteries! Plugged into my laptop easily, but I've managed to plug it onto my smartphone via adapter, so transferring files from another device to the mp3 is a doddle! Sound quality is amazing, very sharp. I'm using it for audiobooks at the minute rather than music and it's perfect for my needs. It's compact. The ability to slide in an extra memory card is a brilliant addition, so you can expand its content without running out off storage space. I don't know how long a single battery will last with this player but they're cheap to buy, and I have rechargeable batteries too, so no issues really. Some people have said the buttons are fiddly. I've had no problems with them, but then I'm used to these little devices. I'm a very happy customer.

Excellent (life saver)
I bought this just before I went into hospital expected to stay in a week, but ended up staying in 54 Days. If it wasn't for this little MP3 player life would have been madding. I down loaded tons of my music from my PC onto the unit. Then some language. ( wish I down loaded audio books). I got the triple package with extra sim memory and carrying case which are all handy to clip on a jacquard chain for walking around with. Put more music on that. Although the menu is a one finger touch up down type and can be fiddly to work once you get the hang 75% of the time it works first time. Think the battery life depends on the batteries I used Ultra power Duracell and got about 30 hours out of them. Didn't really use the FM radio. The sound quality again depends on the headphones you use. I used Samsung noise reduction in ear buds rom my Samsung phone and they were brilliant. It has a memory that returns to the last track that was being played it has a repeat it has scramble (which doesn't seem to work on the Sim Card?) Overall I was very happy but I can see why people think the menu is fiddly.

Faulty from the outset - drains new batteries after 15 minutes - avoid
I did a lot of research to find the right MP3 player for me and this seemed the right fit. It was easy to set up and use so it seemed I'd made the right purchase. However every time I started with a brand new high quality battery such as Duracell Plus (not always from the same pack) it would drain it to zero after approx 15-20 minutes. It's a shame as this MP3 player was what I was looking for. I got a refund off Amazon and although I'm tempted to try again with another one, I've had this problem before with cheaper Chinese tyipe brands on Amazon (wuth a watch that kept losing time) I ordered it a second time hoping it would work and it was just as bad as the first time, so I won't bother wasting my time.

Needs a battery - not charged via USB/No headphones but good
Not a bad bit of kit. Some adaptation needed if you have used Sony USB Walman before but it's now my main MP3 device. Does not come with headphones.

Difficult to change the settings
This works as plug and play - put the us b into the computer and drag or copy the music files you want. Battery is a AAA I bought this for a holiday because I do not take a computer on holiday so I have nothing to charge a battery. It was delivered quickly and it worked despite the lengthy instructions. There are many different settings that can be changed including playback modes (shuffle, repeat all, repeat one song), volume settings, FM radio memory. This sounds great, doesn't it? It is, but the BIG problem is that the text on these settings lists are tiny - you will need a magnifying glass and even then it is not easy. On these lists there are three items viewable on the screen at once. If you choose not to change these settings all you can do is play all the songs on it, in the order you put them on. The Cm radio did work. I returned it

by some kind of miracle, this seems to actually work.
I've been desperately trying for ages to get an mp3 player that I can just plug into aux socket on my car stereo (that annoyingly doesn't have a USB socket!). And, most importantly, one that has nothing at all to do with bluetooth/mobile phone etc. (as I'm the only sad person in the world who doesn't have smart phone!) Eventually I stumbled upon this thing, which I wasn't expecting to work,(as is usually the case when technology tries to be too clever). But, after a while of trying to suss it out, I've put 300 or so music tracks on the thing itself, and other music on a TF card that inserts into it. And I can alternate between the two folders as i wish, by just pressing the buttons, without having to eject the TF card! I then bought another one to plug into aux socket of a mains powered music player I have, that annoyingly so far, does not have repeat and shuffle ability. But this thing does, so I have solved 2 problems, ie. car stereo with no USB socket, and crap music player with no repeat/shuffle. Beyond my wildest dreams!!! The only one among the hundreds I've seen, where there is no mention of bluetooth! Hallelujah! The only downside for me is that it's very tempremental. Doesn't like one TF/micro sd card and says ''card error''. Put another identical one in, and it plays it happily. The same with certain music tracks. I have a mixture of tracks in MP3 and WMA format, and with both, now and again all you'll get is an unpleasant piercing noise if it doesn't like that particular track. So I've had to make a list of such tracks, remove and replace them, and so far that seems to have done the trick. But overall, having considered this a gamble at £26 each, was very pleased with my purchases. Now have bought 4. I need 2 for different devices, and got another 2 in case they conk out and they stop selling them. My search for a non-Bluetooth/non-Smartphone related mp3 player is over. Hallelujah again !!!!!! Thankyou AGPTEK, whoever you are.
