My rabbit is rather fussy and won’t eat just plain mint flavoured nuggets So we use excel as it has some added scents and taste and we actually refer to it as ‘the good food’ as she loves it so much! This also prevent selective feeding as it is only nuggets and not a Musli based feed, so she is getting all the nutrients with this. Just remember that they also need fresh hay, greens and water everyday ☺️ Cons: the bay isn’t actually very big and won’t last long if you have a few rabbits

I have just recently changed my 2 rabbits over to these mature rabbit nuggets. They are a totally different flavour to their previous nuggets, but they both love these. Burgess Excell nuggets are one of the top brands with a great nutrition value and are my go to brand.

I was inspired to leave a review by another customer review on here. She had said that her pet rabbit had tired of the mint version, and that he had had problems with bladder slush, which until recently I had never heard of. My boy Bracken is 7 and an inside bunny and had always been healthy, until this April he wasn’t. He too was fed the mint flavour pellets, which he had just stopped eating completely. After a series of visits to the vet (totalling just under £1,500; thank goodness for Petplan!) he came back from the brink of death, literally, and slowly recovered from a series case of bladder slush. However he still wouldn’t eat his pellets, although he was eating every other element of his diet. After reading the previous review, I tried these and he loves them, can’t get enough of them, even eating them from my hand. I’m so glad I tried them, and so glad I still have a bunny to look after 😊

Rabbits obviously love it. I use it as a support food for my rabbit who struggles to gain on weight. It was recommended by a vet. Always make sure your rabbit eats a lot of hay as well to keep teeth in a healthy condition. 🐰
