Whole Bean Coffee – Rich Flavor and Great Value
I recently ordered the [Brand Name] whole bean coffee from Amazon, looking for a fresh and flavorful option to upgrade my morning brew. The package arrived quickly and was well-sealed, preserving the aroma and freshness of the beans. Aroma: As soon as I opened the bag, I was hit with a wonderful, rich scent—notes of dark chocolate and a hint of caramel. It smelled fresh and inviting, exactly what you’d hope for in a premium coffee. Grinding & Brewing: I used a manual grinder and tested the beans in both a French press and an espresso machine. The grind was smooth, and the beans responded well in both methods. I got a full-bodied cup every time, with consistent extraction and very little bitterness. Taste: The flavor is robust yet balanced. There’s a natural sweetness with subtle nutty and chocolatey undertones. The acidity is mild, and the finish is smooth. It’s the kind of coffee you can enjoy black, but it also pairs well with milk for a creamy latte or cappuccino. Pros: Fresh, aromatic beans Versatile for different brewing methods Smooth and flavorful profile Good value for the price Cons: My only minor issue was with bean consistency. A few beans were smaller or slightly chipped, which can affect grind uniformity. It didn’t have a major impact on the taste, but it's worth noting for more meticulous coffee enthusiasts. Conclusion: Overall, this is a great everyday coffee for anyone who enjoys a deep, satisfying cup with rich flavor. It may not be a high-end specialty roast, but it easily competes with more expensive brands in terms of taste and aroma. I’ll definitely be ordering it again.

good for the price, but there are better decaff beans
Firstly, this is phenomenal value for a decaff bean. Makes a tasty coffee, slightly nutty, somewhere between a medium and dark roast. Secondly, ignore any rumours of "oily beans" in other reviews, they just were no worse than any other bean, and those reviews almost put me off buying. Ignore them, these are no more oily than Illy or Lavazza. Thirdly, I must bring the tone down a tad and say they are not on the same level as Lavazza or Illy beans. My favourite will remain Illy (Best of the bunch, but the price is ridiculous), followed by Lavazza (lovely crema and deep rich taste), and then followed very closely by these San Fransisco Bay beans. (slightly lighter/less complex taste than the other two, and much less crema) I'd recommend them if your coffee taste is for a medium roast, but if you like a deeper taste, maybe not quite so much. I can say that they are close to Lavazza, and easily the best of the rest for a decaff bean. Worth trying, I may give them another shot in due course, but I have gone back to Lavazza for now. Tested using DeLonghi Magnifica ESAM 4200S bean to cup coffee machine. Set coffee maker to max amount of coffee, finest grind of bean, and about 1/3 max water volume, then top up with fresh boiled water for an americano.

Excellent decaf beans
Anyone who has swapped to decaf will know the challenges of finding decent decaf beans. It takes a while for your taste buds to adjust and I’ve found most decaf beans are not strong enough and are therefore disappointing. So I tried these after reading positive reviews and they are excellent. The decaf water extraction method means you don’t get the slightly odd chemical taste and the strength of the beans is really good. I can appreciate more subtle coffee now my taste buds are not looking for the strong coffee hit. Highly recommended and great value.

Flavourful but a bitter twang!
Full on flavour coffee however it has quite a bitter taste/aftertaste that doesn't add to the pleasure for me. Bought the 1kg so will use the 1kg but it won't be my first "go to" coffee of the day. Expected a smoother experience for the price but it was worth trying going by other reviewers. A nice enough coffee especially if you like your espresso with a twang!!

Possible my favourite coffee yet!
I've been on a coffee journey for about five years now and started off with shop-bought ground coffees of many different varieties which seemed like the best thing ever, then graduated to grinding my own beans at home at the beginning of the pandemic, which was a totally next-level experience. I've tried a few different beans since then; the online subscriptions, the big brands and various other types, but I think I've struck gold with these beauties. I realised through trying different types of coffee that I prefer a pungent, smoky dark and strong coffee - and if that sounds like your cup of coffee, then I suggest you drop what you're currently doing and buy a bag of these beans. Don't get me wrong, there are some people who like the subtleties of their coffees and describe their favoured brews in the same way pretentious wine connoisseurs describe a fine Bordeaux or whatever, but I'm emphatically not one of these people. When I drink tea, it's got to be builders tea - and when I drink coffee it's a similar affair; I like it strong, dark and pungent, with a decent caffeine kick to to things off - and this stuff excels in all of those areas. If I was to say anything negative at all about these beans, it would be that, due to them being fairly oily, they do make a bit of a mess of my grinder. I've got a DeLonghi burr grinder and this stuff sticks to everything, which will make it interesting when I do eventually switch to a different coffee. Anyway, for the time being I've actually made a monthly subscription this this stuff as it's so good, which makes its already cheap cost even cheaper so it's a big WIN to enter the gates of coffee heaven and save some pennies in the process. I would suggest you give it a go.

This French Roast whole bean coffee has a rich, bold flavor that’s perfect for dark roast lovers. The beans are fresh, aromatic, and produce a smooth cup with deep notes that aren’t bitter or burnt. It brews consistently well whether using a drip machine or a French press. The 2 lb bag is a great value and lasts a good while, making it ideal for daily coffee drinkers. Overall, this is a high-quality, full-bodied coffee that delivers great taste and reliability.
