I find pills a little difficult to swallow** A: Yes they are a little on the big side, 25mm X 10mm also they are expensive, I now by Holland and Barrett 1000mg X 240 capsules, much cheaper. Hope this is of some help. **Q: how many mg of vitamin d does this have please?** A: 5 ug **Q: What type of vitamin d does this product contain? is it vitamin d2 or d3?** A: Hi Just checked the tub, it doesn't specify which Vit D but it is a low dose at 5ug. My mum takes them and finds they help her arthritis, but was found to be low in vit D when our gp checked her blood levels so he prescribed a vit D supplement so the small dose in her cod liver oil caps was not sufficient but everyone is different and age, diet, lack of sun plus some medications can deplete vit D so please seek your doctors advice before self treating. I used to take the seven seas liquid cod liver oil with orange before I stopped being able to absorb it due to becoming ill with Crohn's, I found it helped my general health and my arthritis pain in both knees also helped boost my immune system. Sorry I can't be of more help.
