good unit
The unit is compact and equipped with handles on top for easy transportation. It has a sturdy metal housing and user-friendly controls.I installed this unit in the crawl space. After turning it for an hour, there was a steady stream of water flowing from the drain hose into the condensate pump. The initial humidity level in the crawl space was at 88% which dropped to 60% the following morning. Currently, the unit successfully maintains a favorable humidity level of 51%. It's also quiet, didn’t hear any noise so far.Overall, the unit is great and highly recommend!

Really happy with my experience.
I purchased the 145 pint dehumidifier last fall and was really impressed with how powerful it performed. I had a basement I finished and was having humidity and mold issues. I had been using a 30 pint dehumidifier. The Bluedeep made an impact immediately. I didn't use the dehumidifier over the winter and turned it on 2 weeks ago because the warmer weather, but the machine did not bring the humidity down. Im mildly handy, so I took the unit apart to look at the components and noticed an oily residue around the compressor and the coils were not getting cold enough to condense the moist air. I contacted customer service. And they had me take some pictures of the compressor and piping. We determined there was a leak in the copper pipe that caused the refrigerant leak out. I looked up how much it would cost to repair the issue and let the company know I expected it to cost around $350 dollars. But I'd rather have a new machine. Without hesitation they asked where to ship the new dehumidifier. I gave them my address and 4 days later it was on my doorstep. When it works it's a very powerful dehumidifier. And when its not working its nice to have a company that backs their product with great customer service.

Perfect Solution for My Crawlspace
**Update a year later** The dehumidifier is still working great, keeping the humidity steady at the level I se on the (separate) remote that I purchased. No issues at all. [original review]I bought this heavy-duty dehumidifier for my home's crawl space. The square footage affected is about 650 sq ft because half of my home is a walk-out basement and half is dirt foundation crawl space. My goal is to eventually encapsulate and insulate the crawl space, but I need to tackle the project in phases. Phase 1 was to put in a new French drain outside the structure, improve grading and ensure gutters and downspouts are moving water well-away from the house. Phase 2 was to install a dehumidifier and close off the crawl space vents (I have/had five of them). Upon putting the dehumidifier in place, leveled, on blocks and routing the drain tube to a nearby utility pump the humidity level was around 70% (not a surprise). Within an hour it had dropped to 60%. And by the end of the day it had reached the target of 45%. It is doing a great job and definitely worth the investment.

So far so good -- updated on 6/21/24
This is an update as of 6/21/24The unit failed last week. Thinking that I have 5 year warranty I contacted Bluedeep about the issue. They asked to take the dehumidifier apart so they can troubleshoot the issue over the email. This is by far the most outrageous warranty support I have ever dealt with. Imagine a car dealer asking you to dissemble a car because your car broke under the warranty. I think the vendor is based overseas and he is not aware of the US laws that prohibits this practice. The bottom line is stay away from Bluedeed and any of its products. This is a fly by night operation from an overseas company.I will be contacting Amazon to resolve this and the next step is attorney general.------------------------------------------------------------I have been running this crawlspace dehumidifier for about 3 months and it seems to be working well. This is my fourth dehumidifier and all others had failed between 3 and 5 years of use. I can't comment on the longevity of this particular model but keeping my fingers crossed that it will last longer than the others.

Was great while it worked
We just hit the 1 year mark and it quit working. Everything turns on & sounds the same as if it was running, but no moisture is being pulled out. For the price I was hoping it would last longer than 1 year.‘’’’’’’was able to work with customer service to have this corrected. Can gladly say it was replaced.
