Fjällräven Unisex Rucksack Kanken Rucksack (pack of 1)

This is the second Kanken bag I have purchased, I used my first one nearly every day for three years (work bag and a couple of trips) and only replaced it as it had started to develop a couple of small holes. These bags are extremely hard wearing and waterproof and while on the pricey side are worth every penny. Bag is also very roomy and comfortable to wear. Checked new bag against my previous bag and can confirm it is genuine. Shipping quicker than expected.

Since 3 years I use this bag and still looks very new and of high quality. It is very useful for your computer and for your books to carry at the same time. Self weight is very light. It has large internal volume than it looks. So you can use it while you travel. ONLY thing that I doesn't like is the handles. If you put heavy staffs you can feel pain.

Bought for my wife, she’s really pleased with it, Fjallraven is a quality brand a little bit more expensive but you get what you pay for, don’t be tempted by the imitation copies, buy cheap buy twice.

This is a nearly perfect little rucksack. What would make it perfect for me is if there was somewhere inside to put my keys like a small pocket or keyring. Otherwise it's great, just the right size to carry around all day and fits all the essentials. It has a useful zipped pocket at the front to fit a phone or small purse and two side pockets which fit a small umbrella, camera or phone (as long as you don't mind the risk of having these stolen as the side pockets don't close). The removable back padding makes it very comfortable to wear although might be a bit small for most to use as seating which I understand is its purpose.

Bought this for my sister as a birthday present - she loves it. Colour is as described, and the bag is incredibly strong and sturdy. Only slight niggle is that the straps are quite thin and can dig in to your back a bit, but I only noticed that after I borrowed the bag to do a sponsored walk (and it was only after 8 or so hours that it started to dig in really). Overall, very durable bag (we spilt a bottle of water in it and the water just ran straight off the bag), we've had it for nearly a year and it barely looks that different from when we first received it. Impressed - definitely would say it's worth the investment.

I loved this from the moment I used it! Very handy and love that it’s hard to get into as the zips are underneath the outer fabric so you know your stuff is protected from thieves as they can’t open the backpack easily. It feels comfortable on the shoulders and you can fit so much inside as it opens all of the way out so you can pack this. Very durable and holds up even when it’s raining. It drys quickly when put over the heater and when not used it easily flatters so you can put into another bag or suitcase which I really love! Perfect size for me and will definitely be buying another one in a different size and colour!

I wasn't sure that as an adult, I would be able to use the min version. You are able to fully extend and clip the strap to create an adult friendly back pack. I am a size 10 and this fits over my quilted coat! If you are a few sizes bigger than this or wear a thick coat, then you might find this won't do for you It is something I would use as my handbag. I can easily fit my kindle, umbrella, purse, keys, pass etc in here. It won't hold everything but that is what the bigger version is for! i am very pleased with it. To adjust the strap for adults: (you can fund a video online to help!) -Undo the stud at the base of the strap - feed the strap out of the top loop - extend - use the fold over clip at the bottom of the bag to secure

I was very disappointed with this backpack to b honest. Very flimsey material, too lightweight, straps too thin, sorry not a good buy for price.

Le sac Fjallraven mini en Ox Red. D'abord j'ai commandé en rose(la couleur est très jolie mais pas à mon goût) mais ensuite je l'ai pris en Ox Red. Le sac est magnifique, authentique aussi. C'est mon deuxième mini, très pratique et confortable. Personnellement j'ai rajouté un organaseur de sac est c'est parfait pour remplacer mon sac à main!!! Le compartiment est assez grand.

I purchased the Ox Red/Royal Blue combination backpack. The picture on the Amazon thumbnail is not the same one that pops up in the cart, but I did some research online so I managed to pick the correct combination I wanted. There is a Royal Blue/Ox Red (opposite) combination which has a predominantly blue front with a big red pocket on it, and this is NOT the one I purchased. The one I bought is all red in the body, with blue handles and straps ONLY. So make sure you know which one you are purchasing and you should be alright. Amazon should really fix that image thumbnail. I was a little dubious about purchasing a backpack that costs so much for so little bag, but I am very happy that I did. One of my friends has owned one for a year now and takes it everywhere with her, so after her rave reviews I decided to try it out. The bag is VERY lightweight. However, it doesn't feel cheaply made. The materials are quite sturdy and while the backpack isn't waterproof it is certainly water resistant. I got caught in some heavier rains and watched the water bead off. Didn't wait to hang around and see if my bag got soaked or not. If you want a bag with a lot of give, I wouldn't recommend this. The Kanken bag is a stiffer material, so it holds that rectangular shape very well. I now own both the Kanken Mini and the Kanken regular because I liked them so much. I took the mini hiking with me, and while the side pocket on the Mini is too small for a water bottle it is perfect for my cell phone. I can put a bottle inside the bag and have my phone ready to access. The front pocket can fit a cellphone and a pair of keys, but the zipper makes it quite small to fit much else in there. Because of the lighter materials and smaller size the bag didn't feel heavy on my shoulders or uncomfortable. Normally when I go on day-hikes I like to bring a smaller bag with hip belt, but I didn't feel like I needed one with this bag. Since the straps extend out only so far, it prevents me from having a saggy backpack (and therefore less supportive), and so where the straps lie is a perfect point on me. If you have much larger shoulders or thick arms that may affect your decision. I've got a bit broader shoulders for a woman, but I think it's comfortable. The main body of the Kanken Mini is what surprised me the most. I was able to fit over 6 paperback books inside the bag on top of my wallet, water bottle, coin purse, and cosmetic bag. Found this out by accident when I borrowed a lot of books from a friend. They just kept piling in! The handle on the backpack is also pretty useful, but on the mini it's not exactly a great purse handle. I appreciate it for the ease of nabbing it when it's on the car seat next to me, but I primarily wear it as a backpack. Some may think the price is high for a small backpack, but I felt like it was a worthy purchase to me.
