Very hard lead, 4H in my opinion
This lead was much too hard for my needs, there is no hardness guide on the description so in my opinion it’s about 4H, I needed a 2B

These coloured leads are as good as any, if you don’t push to hard on them, easy to install. good for the price. Will buy again

Delicate but good quality.
They are tiny, tricky to handle and easily broken by handling but when used with a good quality mechanical pencil like a graphgear 0.5 from pentel, they are nice to sketch with.Not to bold or faint, reasonable softness and easily rubbed out. Recommend using only 1-1.5mm out the end of your pencil to avoid snapping. Don't need to be heavy-handed when using these so a light pressure is all that's required.

Breakable and pricey
If they were half the price I would buy more units, reasoning:They break easily as others have mentioned, so you need to used more and more of this product. At the current price this makes it really expensive to use the leads.Performance review: If you write text and don't want to break the lead then the text will be light fading red. If you plan to use it for sketches then it actually is quite enjoyable. I'd suggest to use an advanced pencil where it rotates the lead to keep it sharp (it really made a change for me).

Great purchase
Product arrived VERY quickly (2 days?) and all nicely packaged so none of the leads were broken (thankfully!).I got the red and find it to be quite light so sometimes it's not that easy to see however it is good and erases easily.At first, I wondered whether they would leave marks but there is no worry as it erases just like normal lead.I'm really happy with these and I will buy more.Gave 4 stars ONLY because the lead wasn't as dark as I would of liked it to be but it's still a great lead. Strong too.

Very good lead if you’re intending to sketch with it
Great lead if you’re just planning to sketch with it. I used to sketch with plain graphite lead before but by using the red it’s easier to outline drawings without the messy construction and it’s super easy to remove the lines if scanned in.The lead hasn’t snapped at all and I’m not using light pressure either. Overall it’s easy to erase without leaving traces, keep in mind you’re not pressing too hard. (Picture attached for example)
