Goliath Games WordSearch Junior Word Puzzle Board Game for Kids

I bought this for my 4 year old. Her attention span is normally good. She can't quite get to the end of a game of Wordsearch Junior yet but with continued play and support it will help improve her patience, attention span and reading/spelling.I expect she will get 2-3 years good use from it due to the variety of games (picture sequence games to start with, progressing to word searches).The instructions, set up and game play are easy to grasp and begin playing straight away. Suitable for playing in the car if an adult is in the back with the child - always useful to have a good game for long journeys!

This is a fantastic Game my 4 year old Daughter loves it. She started primary school in september and this has been a really helpful and fun way for her to learn to spell and recognise words. They have pictures on them too, so if they're not great at reading they can still recognise the picture and try to sound and spell the word. Theres also a double sided pattern disc-she likes that one :-) Brilliant educational game.

My 5 year old granddaughter got bored quite quickly, as each section only had a few words, and we felt that the scoring was a bit complicated.

Our 4 year old loves this game! He has just progressed to the middle level as well as the picture one. There are plenty to choose from, so he never gets bored and still another level to go for when he is older!

Got this to try and help my 5 1/2 year old daughter with her reading and spelling whilst having fun at the same time. My daughter found this too simple. Not because the words are too easy but because the words are very easy to find as there are pictures on the game board of the word in question, which also indicate where the beginning of that word is. Kind of defeats the object of a word 'search' in my view. Any child who has a basic comprehension of phonics would be able to figure out the words quite quickly. If they got rid of the pictures or if they were somewhere other than immediately next to the word in question, then I would rate it higher.

Absolutely brilliant game. Fun for all the family and very educational for children helping them to learn but also having great fun in the process. We were laughing from start to finish as we all excitedly tried to find the words. This was bought for a 5 year old for Christmas and she loves it but the adults also enjoyed playing the game with her. Would definitely recommend this product.

Like this game it helped my granddaughter with her reading.

Mis hijos lo pasan pipa buscando palabras, pero no se quedan ahí y una vez que las encuentran todas no termina la diversión juegan a pronunciarlas y el mejor va quitando las fichas y sumando puntos. Vamos que tiene varias posibilidades.Nos ha gustado tanto que hemos comprado la ampliación.
