Solid tool, sturdy and well made. Nice holster as well. This has become my go to garden tool. Holds an edge and is great for digging, transplanting, cutting, chopping and so many of the usual needs around the home and garden. Highly recommended.

Wow. Just wow. This tool is heavy and incredibly well made. It comes with a heavy canvas sheath with a belt loop. I do wish it had a clip but I love it so much I don’t care. It digs, it saws, it cuts. Easy to sharpen. I carry it everywhere and use it every time I’m in the garden. I honestly don’t know what I ever did without it. I was initially reluctant because of the price. It’s worth every penny. This is the kind of tool that will be used for decades.

Love my Hori Hori knife! It's versatile, strong and high quality. It's sharp, but the sheath is sturdy, safe and well made, so that shouldn't be an issue as long as you are careful. The blade length is perfect for getting leverage to pop weeds out by the roots.

This is such a great tool! Our neighbors who lived in Nicaragua told us about their gardener who had a Hori Hori knife and used it for everything, like an extension of their arm. Planting bulbs, opening bags of soil, cutting twine, weeding, prying bricks into place, loosening soil, it's so useful! And this particular one is SHARP! (learned that the hard way! X-( ), the blade is sturdy and the handle is full tang. It's got a nice girth that fits well in my hand in addition to being fairly beautiful. It comes with a sturdy sheath that hangs faithfully on my garden bag. It may sound silly but I have never been so enamored with a garden tool. This one deserves my full respect.

None other like it! Well made and very handy when doing my yard work and gardening. The sheath is a plus as I sometimes misplace tools while working. This garden knife is substantial and very high quality from blade to handle. The blade length has proven to be just right for digging, weeding, and pruning. Would buy again.

Good sturdy knife, works well in the garden, but it could be sharper. It's a rather dull blade, even on the parts that should be sharp, but the heft and solid build make this worth owning.

This Hori Hori knife surprised me in a good way. The full-tang stainless steel blade feels sturdy without being heavy, and the wood handle actually fits comfortably in hand—way nicer than the plastic ones I’ve tried. The serrated edge makes quick work of roots, and the included sheath is legit handy for keeping it close while working. Compared to similar knives, this one hits that sweet spot of durability and price. Definitely a “buy once, use often” tool.

This was a gift for my daughter who works in the plant nursery business, so she is very familiar with planting tools and equipment . She wanted this type of garden knife for home use, though, as she does a lot home gardening. She was impressed with this tool as it is very sturdy and beefy. It has a full tang riveted handle, a strong blade with one serrated edge, and depth scales on the blade. The scabbard is heavy duty with riveted edges. She seemed pleased with it all around. Being winter, she hasn't used it yet, but if there any issues with the knife, I may update this review later.W
