Positively surprised
I got this to control a linux-based home theater pc. It is relatively inexpensive and I did not have high expectations so it was a positive surprise to see how nicely it works. From a practical point of view it does its job well. I use it about 2h per day and tend to switch it off when not in use; the original batteries are still working after 2 months. Also, there is basically not delay when turning it on: the keyboard is immediately responsive. All keys respond well, and so does the track pad.It is light, to the point of almost feeling like a toy but it is actually well made. The mechanical action of the keys feels light but solid, requiring little pressure but still providing a good feedback on the fingers. It is smaller than a standard keyboard, so I would not recommend using it for 8-hour office work. That said, the keys are still placed in a sensible and ergonomic way. From a design point of view it is ok: not a masterpiece but not an eyesore either (I have the white model) and it is small enough to be easily hidden, should it clash with the rest of your interior decoration.

Best 2 in 1 wireless HTPC keyboard available on market ...
Best 2 in 1 wireless HTPC keyboard available on market IMHO.Good size, smaller than your traditional keyboard due to having no numeric pad which is replaced by a track pad however still acceptable to use for typing and general surfing of the web or quick work processing. This keyboard has been designed for use with a HTPC (home theatre PC). I find personally that keyboard can be used on a desk PC however I would not recommend this as there are better keyboards on market and you'd probably want a mouse if using on a desk. The track pad works very well and is responsive with no lag noticed. another benefit as mentioned is the extra left click button locacted in top left corner of keyboard which is a joy to use if using keyboard on your lap which I tend to do.I have my PC hooked up to my 50" LCD and use keyboard laying in bed on my lap.Have not found any issues so far with this keyboard.Highly recommend!

Nice travel unit but I wouldn't want to type a novel with it
The more I use this keyboard the more I get to like it. At first I found it too small but using it as a travel companion it's perfect. My review is based on using this with my surface pro using Win 10 but I also use it with an old Samsung laptop using Win XP and it works well with both operating systems. It's a compact and light keyboard with a slim design. I find the keys are flatter and closer together than I would like and I often hit the caps lock button when I go for the left shift key and the enter key is smaller than I like. The other thing I find very annoying is the keys to move around i.e. page up/down, end, home etc you have to use the function key at the same time and I just can't get used to it.Overall It's an ok item that does the job better much than the on screen keyboard of my surface pro but for a serious typing session I prefer a larger layout. I don't use the mouse pad often as I have a unifying mouse also programmed to the receiver. That's the beauty of the Logitech unifying system, one dongle can control more than one peripheral. Having said that, the mouse pad can be extremely useful if for example you are lying in bed and want to control everything from the keyboard. The best part is that the pad allows the 2 finger zoom function like the screen of a tablet, it's not as responsive as a tablet and a bit erratic but it can control the zoom function. The unifying system requires a quick download of software from Logitech and once installed on your computer it's simply a matter of turning the item you want to unify off and on and it's ready to use. It's got some nice features and the function keys have lots of uses. The media player buttons are also useful with volume control keys above the mouse pad.To sum up it ticks a lot of my boxes (albeit not all of them fully). It's never going to take first choice as my full time typing preference but for the price and the unifying system it does meet the basic requirements. I recommend this as a travel companion to improve tablet use or an occasional keyboard for sitting in the armchair or bed and surfing a big screen.

Flawless! (OK one flaw but not worth taking a star off...)
Plug in the dongle and it works. No drivers, no install, no downloads. Works in Windows. Works on a Mac. Works in Linux. Pi, ESXi; even in the BIOS screen... yes, WITH THE MOUSE! And plus saves a USB socket. And the batteries last for AGES. Used the cheapo batteries we got with it (yes, batteries included!) and it's been going for 3 months without a hiccup.NB. The only slight grievance is the stupid function keys, where you have to press "Function" to get the function keys instead of multimedia functions. You can turn this off in Windows, but it does need proprietary driver support downloaded from the manufacturer's website to do so.

A very nice slimline keyboard with built in mouse
Logitech K400 Plus Wireless Touch Keyboard for Windows, Android and Chrome - QWERTY, UK Layout, WhiteA very nice slimline keyboard with built in mouse, when this arrived I was surprised by the quality, it's very nicely made. The keys are well marked so they are easy to read, they are soft touch but precise when pressed. The built in mouse touchpad is a dream to use, touchpad is one of my pet hates but this one I find pretty good.I plugged the USB communication device into my steam link for my TV & it was recognised straight awayA very nice keyboard mouse combination - recommended! If you found my review helpful please click 'Yes' below, thank you.
