Only place I could get it
Used to connect 40mm waste pipe to 55mm waste. Could not get connection in my local supplier

Confusing description.
Although the item is correct for its application the sizes stated are wrong and confusing. It does fit the said 56mmX43mm pipe fittings. But reading the quoted size of 50mmX40mm I assumed the 50mm would slip inside the 56mm pipe and would have been perfect for the space I had to reduce the pipe in as I would not have required to fit a coupler as well. Why it is advertised as 50X40 when it arrives with the correct size of 55X43 moulded onto the fitting I don't know. But it must cost the supplier when DIYers are looking for something out of the norm due to the postage returns. Needs the description changed to avoid confusion.
