Primos Hog Wild Call

It's light, and compact enough to hang around the neck or stick in a large vest pocket. With a little practice, it sounds just great. Doesn't overblow, so you can punch some air through it for extra volume. Price is reasonable. I don't know anything else could make it better. When I use it, it sounds just like a grunting hog.

The call seemed to work great, but my dog got a hold of if and chewed it up the third day I had it. I did get to use it twice while hunting and the call did get the pigs attention.

I'm not sure that this works very well, and there certainly could be operator error involved, but we have a fair amount of feral hogs in the area, and I've not been able to attract them with this. But it's incomparable for annoying one's wife when used extensively indoors, so there's that going for it!

Just got this call in from Amazon, and shipping was great...got it aday earlier than expected. My only problem is that this "hog call" sounds exactly like the Primos Big Buck Roar call that I bought a few weeks ago. The only difference I can tell is the buck call is all rubber and the hog call has a wodden mouthpiece! Guess I have a pair of buck calls now...

Our grandson received this as a Xmas gift and likes it very much!

...make sure to go online and watch SEVERAL instructional videos first. Some make it all seem too easy. All in all...exactly what I expected.
