Great quality, would recommend.

Okay obviously it's difficult to get excited about a sketching book, but I have to tell it's one of the best ones I've owned considering the paper quality and price. There are sketchbooks with better paper but the come at higher price. The tooth of the paper is small and holds pencil great. I have also tried charcoal and pastel, while charcoal was fine though due to small tooth could be smudged easily, I personally would not recommend to use it with pastels. The convenient A3 format allows not only to sketch but also make detailed drawings. I have personally used in a life drawing class. The hard cover adds to overall convenience as one does not need to carry a drawing board. The fact that it has spiral bound makes it doubly useful especially if drawing in a confined area. Overall great for any budding artist out there.

Pros: Vibrant cover, good quality pages Cons: Wrinkles when wet I stand by the Pink Pig products as I've had multiple that have been brilliant buys. I am always picky when it comes to getting a sketchbook because I am a student and need a decent one for college. This product has good thick quality pages and plenty of them, I still haven't run out after months of doing artwork every other day (or even more often). It takes watercolour, oil, acrylic, pencil crayons, biro etc well without any problems apart from it wrinkling slightly if you apply too much water although it tends to flatten whilst it dries, but not all the time. I will be buying this product after I have run out my current one, or a similar variation. I also love the bright coloured covers that make it more quirky than the normal black versions I get.

This sketchbook is really good quality. The paper is really good and none of my pens have bled through the pages. I don't think it would hold up well with watercolour but that's not really what this sketchbook was designed for and I believe the company has one more suited to that if that's what you're looking for. It has plenty of space in it ( I had initially bought it for a single design project but when I have later planned out the pages have realised that I can fit several in. The cover is also not damaged by water. I was sitting with the sketchbook closed outside and it started raining, the water droplets just sat on top and were quickly cleared up with no damage or marks left on the cover. If you're looking for a good quality sketchbook this is definitely the one I would recommend.

In my opinion Pink Pig make the best sketchbooks you can buy, if you want all the qualities mentioned above. The paper is sturdy, versatile and suits a wide variety of media without wrinkling. The spiral binding enables the user to turn pages and keep all previous work flat and safe. The strong cardboard cover protects work when the sketchbook is being carried around or needs to be put upright on an easel, and for all this, the price is very reasonable. The 'icing on the cake' is the lovely variety of subtle colours available on the interesting textured covers. I have advised all the members of my Art class to buy Pink Pig.

Good quality pages, that you can use almost any art medium on. Used these all throughout School and even now. Perfect for any artist 🎨

I started buying pink pig sketch books during my GCSEs and have just bought this one to take with me to uni. Pink pig have always provided excellent quality, the paper is really nice for most medias and isn't see-through. Also it can't handle some black ink so just be wary of that! I'd also recommend just mixing some PVA with a tiny bit of water and coating the book as it tends to wear away on the corners after a year of use! but this is standard to any paper/card sketch books. There are no logos on this book! except the front page which can easily be taken out as it is ring bound. The front and back covers are strong and logo free. It was delivered very fast! and in perfect condition. Nicely packaged. Really great brand and brilliant price from this seller!

bonjour à toutes et à tous :) carnet de très bonne qualité, feuilles suffisamment épaisses, si par exemple vous désirez gommer c'est possible sans détériorer les feuilles. Le design est très sympa, simple, épuré... mais les goûts les couleurs... Pour dessiner avec des crayons, ou autres c'est tout à fait faisable, c'est pour cette raison que je l'ai acheté, fusain, pastel... impeccable je vous le recommande cela va de soit. je vous souhaite sincèrement une très bonne journée empli de pleins de moments vécu... respiré, car la présence c'est l'essentiel prenez tus soin de vous Karine

Ich habe das Skizzenbuch für meinen Tochter gekauft, die ihn im Rahmen ihrer Lehre benötigt hat. Das Buch kam ordnungsgemäß verpackt, pünktlich zu dem vereinbarten Liefertermin. Es gefällt ihr sehr gut und sie ist sehr zufrieden. Der Einband hat eine schöne, kräftige Farbe und wirkt sehr stabil. Auch die Ringbindung ist stabil und ordentlich verarbeitet. Die Seiten sind sehr gut für Bleistiftzeichnungen geeignet, beim Einsatz von Wasser und Acrylfarben wellen sich die Seiten leicht, aber nicht störend, man sollte eben sehr vorsichtig mit dem Einsatz von Wasser sein, bei meiner Tochter hat dies sehr gut funktioniert. Fineliner, Graphitstifte und Textmarker, kann man hier gut verwenden, man sollte jedoch nicht so stark draufdrücken, damit es nicht durchdrückt. Die Seiten haben nur eine leichte Körnung, ist eher glattes Papier, im Vergleich zu einem richtigen Aquarellblock. Die Blätter sind nicht perforiert, man kann sie also nicht so leicht rausreißen! Die Blätter sind dicker als die eines normalen Spiralblockes, aber nicht so dick wie Tonpapier. Meine Tochter hat sich den Einband mit Stoff verziert, so dass man das Skizzenbuch heute nicht mehr erkennen würde. Wir sind zufrieden und würden das Produkt jederzeit wiederkaufen. Ich danke für die schnelle, unkomplizierte und ordentlich Lieferung und vergebe 5 von 5 Sternen.

Weil ich etwas brauchte um zwischendurch zu zeichnen, habe ich mir diesen Block gekauft. Das Preis/Leistung Verhältnis ist ideal. Man hat genug Blätter und auf diesen zeichnet man gut. Die hinterliegenden Zeichnungen scheinen leicht durch, aber das ist nicht störend. Das Papier ist nicht rein Weiß, sondern hat einen leichten Gelbstich. Das Cover des Skizzenbuches lässt sich auch super mit Acryl bemalen (sollte einem das schwarze vorne langweilig sein ;) ).
