Use on flat surfaces, but great quality!
This product works well as long as the entire product is on a flat surface. I am still running Sierra due to my company working to get all their machines enrolled in the new Apple authorization program for upgrades, so I do suspect that is a large part of the issue. Ports are tight, everything fits, I do have to disconnect my HDMI to Displayport adapter frequently, which concerns me about the port's integrity with all that popping in and out.If you are using this computer on a flat surface, then I recommend. If you are traveling frequently, consider one of the other products this seller has that plug in with just a cable. Do know that this one does not have a LAN port, so you will have to purchase a dongle, but the dock handles it wonderfully, I've had zero issues.Once my Mac is updated to High Sierra - I will update my review.

Technically works but not the way it should.
The problem:The usb3 ports did not work so i tried putting it in upside down and on the other side and then it works but for whatever reason if you try to use it normally it does not work. I didn't pay $60 to have it sticking out awkwardly on the other side or using it upside down...never really review products but gave it 2 stars because it technically works just not as it should.

I got mine and am having the same USB 3.0 issues that others have reported where the port will charge only or not work at all. It works perfectly for thumb drives but does not even recognize my USB 2.0 headset or USB 3.0 Hub. Will be returning mine since USB ports are the main reason I bought this. The HDMI and passthrough charging work great though so theres that at least.

Great device!
Great Product!!! I was debating between this and the Satechi Hub, but decided to try this one since it was the cheaper option with the same number of ports. The products been working great have no complaints and I really like the thin aluminum design.

Only worked for a month
I bought this when I got my new computer. All the ports worked in the beginning then after one month of use only one port was working.

The USB ports don't work
Nice design and the HDMI and thunderbolt ports work fine. The USB ports would only charge but wouldn't transfer data, making them useless.
