High performance at a great price.
Nicely packaged, arrived on time. Sets up fast. The software is intuitive and the scans are very fast and high quality. Matches my needs at a very reasonable price point. I am happy to recommend this product.

Recommend for musicans who need to archive your paper music score
I recently came across a post by a musician on Threads (someone I don’t even follow) who shared their experience using a CZUR scanner for digitizing old music scores into PDFs. They described it as one of their best purchases, which piqued my interest. While the model they showcased was a higher-end one, I opted for the CZUR Lens Pro 1200 due to its portability and reasonable price point. Before this, I often used a desktop printer or my iPhone to scan music scores. While iPhone resolution has improved a lot, scanning multiple pages stably and efficiently has always been a challenge with both methods. The CZUR scanner, however, has been a game changer. It captures pages with stable, decent-quality results, and the process is significantly faster and less cumbersome. For musicians, especially those handling large volumes of sheet music, this is a fantastic tool.In short, purchasing the CZUR Lens Pro 1200 was one of the best decisions I made in 2024. Highly recommended!

Best for documents but photos are doable
Used this to make copies of some genealogy documents that family member had made over the 20 years preceding internet. Typewritten, some hand written letters, and so forth. Worked very well for these documents that were on non-glossy type of paper. The scanner was easy to set up and use. For the typed documents, the OCR function on the scanner worked well to get an editable document. I also made copies of vintage photos, however, the light on scanner will make a glare on the photos. I liked that I could move the photo to the very right or very left and tilt it away from light, just a bit with a pencil under it, the glare was manageable. The mat that comes with scanner was very useful. It laid flat without a problem. It is the weight of a mouse pad material. You can turn the scanner light off, which I liked that option, but it makes the scanning area very dark; hard to scan a photo unless you have another light that you can filter onto the scanning area. Overall this scanner was very handy, lightweight. I liked that it fit in my carryon.

For rapid scanning of photos or documents, this is superb!
I have boxes and boxes of vintage images, early 20th-century books and magazines, and genealogical records. All of them need to be scanned and shared with others, but scanning them - one by one - on my flatbed scanner? It was taking forever.I've also used a small, feed-style scanner. It's good, but I can't count on it to pull the photos, etc., through evenly. Some always get distorted. The CZUR Lens1200 Pro is exactly what I needed. It was intuitive to set up and use, right out of the box. I just plugged it into my laptop, and it was ready to scan.I especially like how it identifies the borders of the photos and papers, and then automatically scans just those area. Even better, the software automatically straightens the photos if I hastily place them on the mat beneath the camera. This scanner isn't great with really shiny items, like high-gloss photos and magazine covers. For that, I'm still using my flatbed scanner. However, I was able to scan 10 illustrations in two minutes, and every one of them looks great. Now I'm just stacking all the documents on the mat, and removing one after another, quickly clicking (with my mouse) as I scan. I reduced a storage box by half in about 45 minutes, and that was a LOT of paper.I'm very happy with this scanner, love how it folds up to store in a small space (or carry with me, to the library), and the quality of the images is excellent. Five stars and an excellent value!

Frustratingly Bad with Matte Papers
Essentially, if you're scanning matte paper, it's either going to be very dark, or you're going to have a brightness "smudge" in the middle of the text. That's a little frustrating. I understand the product is working as intended and meant to simply do its best, but you wouldn't have this issue with a traditional scan-through portable scanner, and they're cheaper as well. Disappointing. I wouldn't buy this again.

EXCELLENT! Would recommend!
I've tried many document cameras but THIS one is by far the best! Best quality, portability, and size. I've scanned many documents in a short period of time. Great time saver!

Awesome! Very happy with it.
This document scanner works great! It has a sleek design and is well made. Assembly and installation was easy. The scanner is extremely versatile; it has a very good field of view and you can scan a lot of things. It is very accurate and very easy to use and does not take up much space. You can even make video recordings of what you are scanning! They are fun. The scanning quality is very good, which is important!

Washes out images!
I mainly purchased this to scan old photographs to save them. This item advertised the ability to scan mutiple items and separate them into separate scans. First off I had trouble downloading the software to my Mac, but was eventually able to. Plug and play does not work well.Tried scanning multiple small items and images captured were washed out. Tried mutiple photos and it selected the photos and scanned them separately, but the quality was horrible. I used various types of photos and each time it selected the different items, but the images just were not even as good as using a copy machine. The singe offset light source causes a glare on glossy photos. Matte photos were washhed out. I also wanted to look at small buttons from my collection and take close up photos, but this has a fixed focus and no focus control. It is light weight and folds up neatly, but unless you only want to scan documents this is not a good purchase.I did not try the video feature as this is not what I need it for.
