I tried with Speck Presidio Grip, Otterbox Commuter, Otterbox Symmetry, Platinum D80 Folio cases. Otterbox Defender case is a little longer, I did not try it with Otter box Defender but I believe it will not fit and/or it will force elastic bands at the ends and case will fail eventually.I have worn this for 5 days. Leather looks good. I don't know the longevity yet. I recommend you to try.Iit is very comfortable. I forget that it is there. I had used Otter box Defender case with its belt holder for my iPhone 5s. Phone poped out a few times with belt clip when getting out of car and one time when I was running. I think I had ran 2-3 min. I have a mild belly, I was using it on the right site like this one. I can't accept an small size phone comes out with belt clip with moderate running. (Supposed you had to run to cross the street, are you going to leave 1000$ phone in the traffic or risk an ER visit!) I put this on my right site. So when I sit, there is no body pressure at the bottom or top. When you sit, check with your finger for any pressure points at bottom or top. Move the case on your belt to a place that will expose it to minimum body pressure. No case will stand to our body pressure and will fail eventually. Dont forget that every material will fail in the long run, too.Good thing with this belt case is:1) You will see it before it fails completely. Check the back if 3 belt clips are getting lose or thinner.2) You can also use a 2nd case to protect your phone.3) I hope you don't have to visit Apple Store for damages. It is published that it will cost you 280$ for screen, 550$ for other damage (I believe this is back cover) without Apple Care.This was my longest review by the way. (I rarely write reviews)I have always enjoyed reading your hundreds of reviews, I have felt that I owe you this one.I am an Apple consumer. I buy new Apple products every 2-4 yrs that depends on how slow they turn into. I also tried Windows laptop, Android phones, tablets etc. to get rid more expensive Apple products, but could not get used to them. (They caused me more stress and time.)I believe Apple has created fragile phones series, and other companies will follow this. Phone X or Phone 8 do not make any much differense. They are all glass.
