Van Cleef Eau De Parfum, 60 ml

I have always worried about this being a 'fake' due to it being so reasonable in price. Most people seem to think it is genuine but the occasional person thinks it is a fake. I ordered a bottle from John Lewis, even thought is cost twice as much so I could compare for one and for all. I have examined every minute bit of the bottle, packaging, label on bottom of bottle and if it is a fake it is brilliant because I can't spot the tiniest difference. I then put one squirt of this one on one wrist on one squirt of the other one on the other wrist and after hours of sniffing couldn't see any difference at all between the two and they look identical in the bottle. I'm glad I carried out this costly experiment as it put my mind at rest and I will now buy from Amazon with peace of mind in the future.

5 stars , great perfume ,wonderful aroma , fresh and classy ,and lasts even after you leave the room the scent stays for hours ! bought it for mum as a christmas present ,she used to wear it ages ago ,was worried it won't be the same , but it is exactly as i remember it , so i wasnt dissapointed ! Mum loves it .

This is a really classy smell that is not overwhelming. Although one does not want to be wearing the same scent as everyone else, it is frustratingly hard to find at times. It lasts well alone but even better when used with the shower gel and body lotion, both of which are excellent too. One of Life's mysteries as to why they don't market it, when it must be one of the all time classic fragrances.

I have been wearing First for over 35 years! Every time I wear it somebody remarks what wonderful fragrance I have on.

First is the right name for this pefume - in a row of quality products my Lady would always pick this one first and that is why I buy it for her. Not always easy to get - especially the Eau de Perfum. It is good value for money and is long lasting. Amazon score high again by providing a link to a good source of supply.

Bought as a present for a friend - worried it might be a fake after reading some reviews, but smells fine and friend says really long lasting. Interestingly, even John Lewis website reviews mention doubts of authenticity, so it may be the fragrance was reformulated, as so many were in the 90's, thanks to EU regs.

First is a unique perfume and I never tire of wearing it or receiving compliments. The perfume arrived before delivery due date and was well packaged and presented. I ordered two boxes as it has such a fresh enticing fragrance that never changes and always lingers it does not evaporate like some perfumes. I will continue to wear it and others will enjoy the fragrance as well.

Good genuine Van Cleef product - arrived in good time ( before Christmas so I am a very relieved husband ) even tho' I left my order very late. Good service - good product.
