It's a high quality natural bristles brush, as advertised.There might be cheaper alternatives for the same quality on the market, though I have not found any in a local store close to me.If you are a fan of Bob Ross wet on wet technique, this will work as Bob says.Make sure you wash it with odorless paint thinner, then baby soap and water, dry the brush and apply a brush conditioner to keep it's quality over time.After 4 usages, a few hairs did go rogue but overall the brush keeps its shape.

Love all Bob Ross brushes they are easy to use and I don't have to pick bristles out of my painting they hold together great

I am new to painting and I didn't think that brushes would make a huge difference . BUUUT IT DOSE! !! I was having a lot of trouble making my trees and grass look some what realistic . I was thinking well I just need more practice . Well my paintings weren't getting much better so I did some research and saw that these brushes had really good reviews. figured what the heck, Ill give it a try . The brush quickly arrived and I was so excited I threw this painting together quickly just to see how the grass and tree would turn out. Extremely impressed ! And a nice added bonus there much easier to clean then the cheep brushes I was using . Now Im slowly buying each of the brushes with each pay check (so its not a huge expense all at once ) . Love Love these brushes

If you get the Bob Ross brand you are getting the best. Cheaper ones do work after you break them in a while sometimes. But these always work and last.

These are high-quality brushes. If you take care of your brushes and keep them clean, they will last you for years, possibly a lifetime. I had lost my 1" landscape brush in a recent move. Bob Ross products are getting harder to find, but if you love to paint and can get your hands on the brushes, I do recommend them. They are very well made and hold up to the pressure much better than the brands sold in my local art/craft supply stores.

I wanted a good brush for putting on the sky in oil plus blending. This brush is thick and has a solid handle. Seems well made.

I have painted over 45 oil paintings and have use this brush on all of them. I purchased it in 2016. i have tried other cheaper natural bristle brushes and they didn't blend as well. I have read other reviews and I have not had any problems with the brush. i have a full set of bob ross brushes and they all have done a remarkably job. Like they say don't use them for acrylic paint. Bob ross paints are thick and requires a stiffer brush. Synthetic brushes do not work well for oil paint. Cons: Very expensive but well worth the money. But they are not available at to many places.
