All you need to complete your works of art and projects. A sharpener is a basic piece of an artists’ everyday kit, which is why its worthing treating yourself to a decent one - BLADE The quality of the blade is crucial for optimum sharpening. It is recommended to replace the sharpener now and again as the blade will become blunt and will result in more tip breakages - IDEAL Suitable for sharpening all fine leads with a 2mm or 3.15mm diameter. The perfect companion for all Faber-Castell TK mechanical pencils - USE Made of plastic which is durable, and sturdy, including a waste box for loose sharpenings - The quality of a sharpener, especially the blade, is crucial for optimum sharpening of wood-clad pencils. Due to their robust and hard leads, graphite pencils can be sharpened to a very thin point. Given their softer leads, colour pencils are sharpened to a shorter and blunter point. For optimum sharpening, we recommend replacing the sharpener now and then because the sharpener blade will become blunt over time. This results in more tip breakages. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B000WGWPDW | | Best Sellers Rank | 20,520 in Stationery & Office Supplies ( See Top 100 in Stationery & Office Supplies ) 44 in Mechanical Pencil Leads 89 in Pencil Sharpeners | | Brand Name | Faber-Castell | | Colour | Green | | Country Of Origin | Germany | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 4.5 out of 5 stars (2,543) | | Global Trade Identification Number | 04005401866008 | | Item Type Name | TK pencil sharpener, with collection container, housing colour: green | | Item Weight | 0.01 Kilograms | | Manufacturer | Faber-Castell | | Manufacturer Part Number | F186600 | | Material Type | Plastic | | Model Number | F186600 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Power Source | Manual | | Special Features | Portable | | Specific Uses For Product | Graphite Pencil | | Target Audience | technician | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Faber-Castell - **Colour:** Green - **Material:** Plastic - **Power source:** Manual - **Specific uses for product:** Graphite Pencil ## Images ![Faber-Castell Miscellaneous Tk Lead Sharpening Box for Tk Leads, 2/3.15mm, Art, Craft, Drawing, Sketching, Home, School, University, Colouring - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71I7-VC5UbL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Will this put a particularly long bevel on the lead? I have a holder that I like, but doesn't keep the leads far back enough - the tips poke out.** A: I am not quite sure what you mean so what I have done is sharpened a lead and taken a couple of photos and added them to my review of the sharpener so you can see what they look like. The pen is a Lamy scribble. Hope this helps. **Q: how long must a lead be to be able to use this sharpener, I have very short lead (2cm) for compass? Or I should buy the mini finger-held sharpener?** A: The depth of the lead in the hole is 1cm so I suspect it would soon be a struggle with just a 2 cm lead. I have no idea what the mini finger held sharpener is so can’t comment on its suitability. **Q: would this take a 3.8 lead ?** A: Biggest ive got is 3.2 and theres deffo room to spare , so id think its enough but unsure as dont have any 3.8 **Q: Is this suitable for aber castell polychromos pencils?** A: Hello LueH. Definitely no. This is a lead sharpener I use to sharpen 2mm lead. A normal pencil will not fit. Mike. ## Frequently Bought Together - FABER-CASTELL 186600 - TK Lead Sharpener for Fallmines - Faber-Castell Tk9400 3mm 4b Clutch Pencil - Faber-castell Tk9400 3mm 6b Clutch Pencil --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.lk/products/48691571-faber-castell-miscellaneous-tk-lead-sharpening-box-for-tk-leads](https://www.desertcart.lk/products/48691571-faber-castell-miscellaneous-tk-lead-sharpening-box-for-tk-leads) --- *Product available on Desertcart Sri Lanka* *Store origin: LK* *Last updated: 2026-10-20*
