I LOVE this book and read it every morning, perfect for kids and adults!

I feel strongly that my children (12 and 9) develop their own personal friendship with God and wanted to encourage them to read the bible for spiritual 'food' every day. I'm so glad I bought them a copy each of this book. They love reading it and look forward to seeing what's in it every day. My daughter recently started high school and reading these biblical truths in the morning (only takes about 5-10 minutes over breakfast) helps her feel more prepared for whatever pressures the day may hold. Sometimes she re-reads it in the evening too. My 9 year old loves it as well and I've been reading it while waiting for the adult version to arrive! I like being able to read 2 or 3 scriptures on a certain theme and really ponder on their meaning. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this book to other parents.

This is a great devotional book for children and teens. Love the daily encouragements. It also helps the children to grow in the Lord and gives them a great start for the day (if read in the mornings). Ordered this book because my daughter asked for it, she read few of those devotions and she fell in Love with it.

Wounderful book for my seven year old son,he isn’t able to read words yet but I can read them to him until he’s able this is a book about our lord you can keep for life

Although advertised as Devotions for Kids, this is suitable for everyone. Sarah Young doesn't fail to inspire and comfort with her wise words. It is described as being written in a language and style that kids can relate to, however sometimes, as adults we need to simplify things and get 'back to basics'. The devotions are written as if Jesus is speaking directly to you. Some are more suited to children i.e. references to school but most can be adapted to adult situations. Would definitely recommend

I have the adult's edition myself and love it, so was delighted to find a children's version as well and got a copy to read to my 9 and 10 year old at night. Wasn't disappointed, beautiful devotions and my children enjoy listening to them.

Nice little book. Daughter (8) enjoying reading it every day. Would've been helpful if I realised/description mentioned I was dated! So we've started part way through...come across a couple references to stuff we've "meant" to have read already... Great little book though...

Perfect encouragement for anyone about 10 + older!

I cannot recommend this book enough. We read it with our boys every night and sometimes I think it is more for me than for them. A non denominational Christian friend recommended it to us who are Catholic but we absolutely love it and I gifted one to each of my sons. The blue version is exactly the same except for the cover, so I gifted one to each son and they love it. I had bought several more after as Communion gifts too.

A must have in every home. Let God guide you everyday.
