Good beginners machine Easy to set up and use

This is a really good knitting machine. I am useless at crafts cos I'm clumsy and impatient but this machine is so easy to use and the different stitches are really effective. So far I've knitted scarves and cushions. To get over the problem of the finished product rolling with scarves just make the scarf wide and fold in half lengthways then sew together with wool and an embroidery needle and bobs your uncle. Picky shows a cushion I made.

A reasonable price , the quality is good. I bought this to knit up double knitting yarns and the stitch tensions are very are very easy to achieve with the use of the dial. After years of struggling with the old “BOND” I am really pleased with the Silver Reed modern version

I have looked at it, but can not use it yet as have no table to put it on. Have tried to get a knitting machine table from all obvious sites, but not been able too. Can anyone help please? I did have the Bond hand knitting machine many years ago, and I got on with it fine, but the reveiws so bad I thought I might try this one. Unfortunetly the dinner table is round, so that is no help.

It is light, portable and fun. I have already made a jumper on it. The clear instructions make it incredibly easy. All you have to do is work your way through the manual and you will have made your own jumper. It takes you there step by step. By the time you have made it to the end of the manual you will be off and creating your own designs. I am looking forward to creating more garments but faster than hand knitting. It comes with all the basic accessories such as tappet tool, weights, transfer tools. It gives you a few more things that I did not expect. I am really pleased with this machine.

I did not get on with this knitting machine so it was sent back,as any knitting that I did was taken of by the machine it could be a best by for someone else

I have made lots of cardigans and sweaters. Really easy to use. Works better with a knitting machine table.

I had an identical machine 30 years' ago that I bought 2nd hand., so was delighted to find this model. My previous one I only knitted hats and scarvesl. But have had so much time with the lockdown I have knitted 4 jumpers. Still learning some of the procedures and patterns it has. It was delivered promptly and packed well. Pleased that a DVD was included as well as the manual, which I could not have managed without. Having fun.
