Noodler's Walnut Bottled Ink - 3oz, Dark Chocolate Brown, Partially Bulletproof, Forgery-resistant, Water-resistant

I had a favourite brown ink, that I thought could not be surpassed, but this is even better.

Colour as expected. Dry to touch quickly. Very good.

Très bonne encre, marron foncée. Elle n'est pas waterproof mais cela permet justement d'avoir de très beaux effets sur les croquis aquarellés.Je l'utilise avec un stylo Platinum et elle coule très bien, ne bave pas sur le papier (même sur le papier standard imprimante) et ne bouche pas le stylo.Le seul bémol serait que le flacon n'a pas de pipette pour transférer l'encre, mais bon il existe des pipettes en plastique à moindre coût qui font très bien l'affaire.

Love all Noodlers Inks, and this brown is just the right color. I sometimes lighten it with a bit of a pale orange ink when I want a slightly lighter color. All these inks are first rate and the best I have ever used.

This is my first Noodler's ink, so I was eager to see its color and how it behaves. Right now I've only tried it in one pen, by refilling a Sheaffer cartridge with it and putting it in an italic-nib No Nonsense.Very nice color -- just like my walnut furniture. It flows well and doesn't clog.or dry up. I can pop the cap off the pen and it just writes with no trouble starting.

I love the rich, deep brown color this ink provides. However, when using with watercolors, a wash of water over the surface will cause this ink to bleed and separate on my cotton watercolor papers. So, it's not the best product for my purposes (I did find Noodler's #41 Brown to be satisfactorily waterproof), but for writing or artistic purposes without washes, it is great!

Wonderful product. Not completely waterproof, but lots of uses in ink and wash with watercolors. I will buy more Noodlers ink for sure.
