Loved this before. Decided to subscribe to something for the 1st time, hmm! Loved the flavour & at a really competitive price previously. On receiving the product I was astonished that the packaging had dramatically changed. It wasn't resealable, and was incredibly excessive! The flavour has changed, but is still nice! And now I see after subscribing to this product that it is no longer available? Update... After the 3 stars I gave this due to the above issues the packaging has now shrunk to as small as can be (as featured) but still not resealable sadly. But it still tastes great & is the best prices I have found. 5 stars now

Virtually no fat, top quality, great taste. Just wish they offered a pack with 20% fat?

I have ordered these a few times now, first time was fantastic, great flavour with the right amount of spices so that you can still taste the beef. Second time however felt as though the beef had been overcooked, whilst still edible and tasty it wasn't quite what it was the first time I ordered it. Ordering a third time it was better than the first. They are great value for money, if you can manage to make the packet last 1 to 2 weeks!

I originally ordered the peppered steak flavour but i requested it be changed to the garlic flavour so +1 for seller communication. The biltong arrived in two 500g bags (really huge bags man, like damn) the garlic flavour is nice - I destroyed like 250g in a single day. One thing im uncertain is bad or what but the biltong must be eaten with 48hrs of being opened - as stated on the back of the pack - i put maybe 200g of the biltong in two glass jars, and put a o2 absorber in both jars and i put them in the fridge, and i also put the other 500g vacuum sealed bag in the fridge - hopefully my biltong last longer like this - i hope it will as i don't think it's good to eat 1kg of biltong in two to four days :P I'm happy with my order regardless, the biltong is tasty - and buying it like this i've saved a lot of money and in the mean time purchased more product than as if i went to any shop and bought the Cruga Biltong that i love in 25/35g bags that cost £2 - £3 each. I can't wait to try the teriyaki and bbq flavours next!

It is a conveniently packaged, high quality and healthy snack. I have bought this many times and the consistency of the biltong has always been the same high quality. I can see a lot of thought has gone into this product and packaging and am therefore happy to pay for that as well as a good tasty snack.

Open packetssmells like sulphur. Taste bland and salty perhaps jerky never tasted that. This used to be a premium good flavoured biltong please save your money this is not biltong

This seems like a quality product. There was no sinew or anything. It's quite dry and cut very thin. I know this is personal preference. However, it's also overpoweringly flavoured with nutmeg. I couldn't taste much else. So this product isn't for me. But if you like very thin slices of dry nutmeggy biltong, this would be great.

Husband here (who placed the order). Read the reviews and decided to give these Guys a go due to lockdown. What was ordered arrived in 3 days. 4 x 250g packs in the packaging advertised. Best before date: end of September 2020. All good. Taste etc: Born in Africa, I have been eating this stuff (biltong) in various guises for nearly 50 years. Everybody has their own tastes, recipes etc. This is thinly cut, not wet but not bone dry, good texture. Slight negative for me is that it is a little too peppery. I love pepper, but would rather taste the coriander seed and beef, not pepper then beef and a hint of coriander. Personal taste. Overall: for the price per kilo, during lock down, bargain. So going to order some more.
