I'm a hvac/refrigeration mechanic for multiple Kroger stores in my area, so that environment involves anywhere from being in freezers to being on the roof in the heat, as well as working with solvents and oils, and working with my hands in tight places where things can snag or catch. I can say that at least for the last 5 months this watch band has proven to be very durable and looks to last another 5 months or more. Other people have noted how the hole becomes frayed where the metal catch piece inserts and the same happened to mine also, but since the insides of the holes are melted beforehand, it only frays to an extent. Mine hasn't gotten any worse and still works fine. I did have to make a minor modification just for personal comfort by clamping one of the metal band loops so that it holds the band more securely. I've gotten my wet a bunch and gotten oil on it so it kinda looks dirty but I don't mind that, I wanted something functional, rugged looking, and cheap and this has worked out pretty good so far.

Apple doesn’t make a band big enough for my wrist. I had a metal band with magnet clasp that I got with the watch that fit but wanted something with a buckle that I thought was more secure. I got the XXL and there is plenty of band. I didn’t have to use the first hole for it to work. There was enough left over that it is popped back through the loops. I will be getting more to have when this one wears out.

Love it! Quick ship. I finally can wear my Apple Watch because Apple does not believe in XL sizes. Also, this material feels much nicer on the wrist than the standard plastic-y, rubbery-y band supplied by Apple.Super easy install. Material looks very durable.

I loved the fact that it was an xl very comfortable watch band but it only lasted less than one month.Update: Lucy at customer service was amazing, wonderful!! This company stands by their product. They are replacing band quickly! Thank you carterjett and Lucy.

*Update 11/20•Back On 11/15 I received a very honest email following up on my initial review which was the first time any vendor has contacted me, and genuinely cared so in-depth about customer service. Initially I didn’t see it because it got buried in with this a flood of junk mail, and I am also very distracted by medical stuff I’m dealing with and I completely forgot to write back, but ended up at the hospital anyway so I was pretty occupied lol! Coming back home I was surprised to find another email, this time from one of the owners (I know, right? I'm talking at the top level they care!) who sent me a very unexpectedly touching email, and reiterated that they stand behind their products— and it seems they actually treat people with kindness! She offered an exchange or refund even though it was way back at the end of Aug when I bought it, and conveyed something very unusual and great that seems to be going extinct: caring about your customers! I couldn't be more impressed with how they not only went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied and offered to send a different band regardless of how much time had elapsed. It was funny, because the Top Brass that emailed me was also sympathetic to what happened, and I found it was like I was reading something from a friend I'd reconnected with, and to relay that genuineness and charisma in just an email, it impressed me so much I had to wait a good minute to reply I was so surprised; all of them are SO kind, caring, and dedicated and just based on how their standards of customer service have been light-years ahead of any other vendors -where I had much bigger item issues, and unlike Carterjett, the last lady I received a broken printer from actually said "I live right near you, I know where you are!" and was so horribly combative and nasty- I almost called the police with such a insane veiled threat over a LABEL PRINTER I used exactly 2 times! So you can see it is almost funny how TOTALLY opposite these nice folk at Carterjett are. I have no hesitation in recommending them and their products - the quality of which, in all honesty, I meant to comment on in the first place because that made my frustrations worse, that they had a GORGEOUS item and knowing I couldn't wear it. Plus I was surprised because the band is well made, with an awesome design with that cool hardware and would be a terrific ice-breaker / conversation piece, I just knee-jerk-reacted when I had an allergy; but there was never any question about the quality and cool factor! I think I was also upset I wouldn't be able to wear such a cool band THAT IS ACTUALLY BLACK- Not that faded grey every other "black" band I've ordered has been (I am obsessed with finding and collecting FUN, COOL BANDS and this REALLY IS that- it isn't their fault my skin had a reaction, I'm probably the 1-in-a- million it would be: people are allergic to all kind of things, and I unfairly rated my PROBLEM instead of the PRODUCT! I know the rubber tire-tread band is super popular so since it's also hypoallergenic as well, they are being so generous and sending one of those. And it is also, from what I see, jet black, which I can never seem to find! So I am so blown away with how much they care I am changing my rating to a 4— I am holding off on one more star in case I was just getting "the business" so I would change my review-but I SO don't think so, from their communications and sentiment, I am pretty certain that a new band will show upb Unfortunately, I've much more familiar with shady types -on here and everywhere- so I am cautiously optimistic! If they are genuinely this awesome then I am going to send everybody I know their way, the world REALLY needs good kind empathetic people who actually deliver on their word and don't try to sell junk and swindle folks, even just niceness in general. So! I can't wait to see. It makes things less awful when you're having medical problems if you have something nice happen and restores your faith in humanity.10pm 11/20/17*********I got this mainly because I was looking for a VERY Black nylon band that was cool looking and comfy. Boy was I surprised after only half an hour I had to take this off and put actual Neosporin with pain relief on! It is so scratchy and uncomfortable. Such a bummer because it does look kind of cool. I know they say "suffer for fashion," or whatever, but this is ridiculous.

Had this for over a year now on an Apple Watch 6 & love it. Durable, comfortable & looks good. As others have said it won’t fit the Ultra but they don’t say it does. Looking forward to an updated version for the ultra now that I have upgraded watches. 10/10 would recommend if you like the style.

Today is the official day the watch band broke. I looked at the date I bought it and it was 2/2020 and here we are 10/22, so it lasted a while. Then I realized it was $30 and probs won’t buy again.

I have huge wrists, the regular band that came with my Apple watch 7 was a long way from even touching ends. These nifty straps slide and then clip right into place where the Apple straps were. Overall about 2 feet long. Nice airy, sporty looking, quick drying nylon strap with plenty of holes. Could easily be trimmed down in size with scissors. Very happy customer.

Out of the box I questioned the quality of the materials, but once I put it on I liked the way the thing looked with the black Apple Watch and it has proven to be quite robust so far. The long band goes around my thick wrist more than adequately but I can’t say that I am totally impressed with the required fold-over method for securing the extra length of strap, and I didn’t really want to take the chance of botching a trim and flame resealing of the nylon fibre ends. I’ve worn this thing daily for many months now (in sun and in chlorinated and salt water as well) and while it does show some very minor fraying at the strap end and sides, it shows no obvious signs of faded colouring. I expect to get at least another year out of it before it starts to show its age. Worth the money.

In fairness the watch strap is decent. The buckle and where it attaches to the watch is good quality. The edges are a little rough as noted by others, but I didn't find it too bad.My greatest concern was with the seller. Yes they accept returns, but they short you 30% for restocking. Thats not cool. "We imported this specifically for you" was their response. Don't care - then you should MAKE IT CLEAR IN YOUR AD.Advice - If your in India I wouldn't buy it again.

Good quality band. Unfortunately I had to return it as it was way to big for my wrist. Order the right size and you will be fine.

The build quality is fantastic, it’s incredible comfortable, and the band showed up over 3 weeks ahead of schedule.

I tried a couple of NATO style watch bands for my Series 4 Apple Watch and like the look, and feel of this Carterjett band the best. I would have given the watch band 5 stars, but I am a bit concerned about the durability of the band since the nylon around the hole I use the most looks like it is starting to unravel - hopefully it won't get worse with time.
