Nice colour but not much shading.
The colour is nice but it has nowhere near the amount of shading that was expected after seeing reviews. I have used it in stub and flex nibs on Rhodia paper and every time it has no shading and sometimes even has a dirty texture like it is bleeding into lots of little spots in the paper. I was expecting the colour to be a bit brighter and show some yellow and red but it is consistently a dull orange. It is nice ink if you like flat oranges but it doesn't have as much interest to me as I thought it was going to, almost every other colourful ink I have tried has shown about the same amount of shading as this.

Arrived ahead of schedule and looks very unusual but beautiful.
I'm waiting for a pen to use just on this ink so I haven't tried it yet.

Wow!
I saw this ink reviewed on line (Goulet Pen Company on YT, I think), and hurriedly sent off to someone who was offering samples. It took weeks to arrive and, in my excitement to try it, I knocked over the vial. Yes, I did. There was, however, just enough left in it for me to give it a good try and I was totally knocked out by it. As the Goulet guy explained, it's almost impossible to describe the colour, simply because it has colourS - plural. Beautiful effect; love it. Can't wait for my full bottle to arrive and - yes - I will be very, very careful when using it!

Expected more
Heard a lot about Noodler's inks especially Apache Sunset but a little bit disappointed. Don't get me wrong - it is a lovely ink but I think it is virtually the same shade as Edelstein Amber and the latter has better shading. Given the availability of Pelikan's Amber ink and the lower prices at the moment I think I should have tried a different Noodler ink. That said I will still enjoy using the ink in the second tier of pens.

Wonderful shading ink.
A fantastic shading ink that's great fun to write with. I recommend a wetish medium to broad nib for ease of reading, as finer nibs with their drier flow tend to leave text at the yellow end of the ink's spectrum. Very generous quantity of ink... filled to the brim of the bottle literally.

superb ink
This is one of the best shading inks you will come across. It shades wonderfully; from a light golden yellow through to a deeper near red. Ive used it pilot parallel pens and standard fountain pens and the flow and cleaning is superb throughout.great ink

Beautiful, but badly behaved ink
I know many people love this ink, and I couldn't wait to try it. It's beautiful, and on the right paper, and in the right pen, the shading is outrageous. However, I found this to be a very badly behaved ink in just about every pen. Drying time is over 5 minutes in a pen with medium wetness on Rhodia paper. The flow isn't fantastic, and feathering and bleedthrough on the more saturated down strokes are problematic.
