The Librarians: The Ultimate Collection [DVD]

Great show. If you like Sci-Fi and magic items, this show is for you. If you like Warehouse 13, this show is for you. The tv shows and movies are a lot of fun.

I just discovered this series. Yes, I’m late to the game. But the show is so much fun. Part Indiana Jones, part soy, part magic.

Not a bad episode in the bunch.

I love the Librarians. It contains 3 movies and the entire series. If you want something different, this is it. It was refreshingly different.

Great series to watch while on exercise equipment, the humor and energy and puzzles are distracting and it's easy to keep exercising.. But the audio quality is poor, hard to follow the dialogue for those of us with some hearing loss. Subtitles OK for Seasons 1&2, then not available. No CC option will work either. Big disappointment . Would be nice to upscale the video quality. Actors all super charming.. some plots rather poignant . Nice purchase, even if I can only enjoy two seasons.

I’m giving this five stars because I like the actors and the guest actors. I also like the people writing, directing and producing it. However, I can’t recommend it for children or anyone who doesn’t understand just how dangerous experimenting with magic or the occult can be. They did try to make this clear at times through dialogue, but any dabbling in this area can cause serious problems for people. Trust me. You don’t want to come face to face with anything related to the occult. The discs I received are of good quality. The price was good. The cast is wonderful and includes many people from their previous series, Leverage. That series is definitely worth watching if you enjoy the people involved with this series.

Think Dvds watching on a 4k tv & upscaling blu ray player makes a considerable difference. Have always preferred Vizio tvs & over the past 10 years have had good luck with Vizio products being reliable. Uploaded photos to try to show picture quality(hope that helps). I used a combo of following to get regular dvds to be great picture quality watching: VIZIO M-Series Quantum Class 4K HDR Smart TV Sony BDP-S6700 4K Upscaling 3D Streaming Home Theater Blu-Ray Disc Player The 2 above items improve the picture quality considerably. I’ll be revisiting series I haven’t watched in a while only available on dvd I have due to picture quality with new 4k. Let’s face it: some DVDs will I never be offered in blu ray quality. So, letting the equipment upgrade for us can make do. Now to the product review: Bought this complete series about 1 1/2 year ago(no movies included then) for only $15(have seen the series but none of movies) & didn’t realize a complete series with movies included offered later. So, rewatching considering the picture upgrade now. A very fun & entertaining series to watch & enjoy. Overall I’d rate the series a 4 or 5 stars. Consider it a fun for family viewing. The packaging only gets a 3 stars or less due to dvd holders being cardboard. You may want to buy a better holder to protect the dvds over time instead of using cardboard holders provided. Catch the above equipment on sale & upgrade your tv as believe is worth the investment due to price drops of 4k.
