Perfect Pop of Purple – Fun, Easy, and Washes Out Clean!
I absolutely love the Natural Purple Hair Wax, EFLY 4.23 oz. The color is vibrant and eye-catching without being too harsh, giving my hair the perfect pop of purple while still looking natural. It’s super easy to apply, smooth to work with, and lets me style my hair exactly how I want while keeping it in place throughout the day. The light fragrance is pleasant, and it doesn’t feel greasy or heavy like some other waxes. One of the best things is how easily it washes out with just warm water — no staining, no mess, and no damage to my hair. It’s such a fun way to change up my look without any long-term commitment, and it’s gentle enough that I feel good about using it often. This wax is perfect for everyday styling, parties, or even cosplay, and the price makes it an amazing value. If you’re looking for a bold, temporary purple that looks great and washes out easily, this is the one. Highly recommend!

Must have for cosplay or if you just want white hair !!
I absolutely love this Hair Wax Color in White! It’s the perfect way to change up my look without committing to permanent color. The texture is smooth and easy to apply, and it doesn’t feel heavy or sticky on my hair. The color payoff is amazing—it’s bright, bold, and shows up even on my darker strands. What I really appreciate is how easily it washes out. No stains left behind, no damage to my hair, and I can switch back to my natural color anytime I want. It also gives my hair some hold and style, almost like a light pomade, so it’s both functional and fun. I’ve gotten so many compliments when I wear this, and it’s been great for parties, cosplay, and just experimenting with my style. If you’re looking for an affordable, temporary way to transform your hair, I highly recommend this product!

THERE ARE TRICKS TO MAKING IT WORK!
This product works well when done the right way! For reference, my hair is medium brown, more silver than I care to admit, shoulder length, wavy when dried without help, curly with a thorough scrunch and towel/blow dry diffuser. After reading the reviews, it seems the common thread was the stiffness of the product, which is a curly hair worst nightmare. There are some things that should be left in the 80s. Having personal care product development background, I thought of a way around that. If you have curly or wavy hair and haven't used Shea Moisture Curl Smoothie yet - run to your nearest drug or grocery store and pick some up. It's usually around $12, but worth every penny. Since this product is designed as a wax, stiffness is to be expected. I transferred some of the Shea Moisture Curl Smoothie product into a rinsed out glass yogurt bottle (a solo cup or paper bowl will work as well - but it's what I had on hand) and added some of this product in as well. I made sure that everything was completely mixed together and began applying the mixture as I would normally apply the Shea Moisture product - on wet hair. Keep in mind because you're essentially diluting the product, the color will come out lighter than it would come out if you were to use 100% of the colored hair wax. Rather than applying more of the mixture to get the color, I suggest you put more of the wax in the mixture (which is not what I did but should have - learn from my mistake!!). I also knew since this was a wax pomade, it would weigh down my hair more. I generally scrunch with a towel vs. diffuse, so I diffused (head upside down with warm hair on low). So far it's drying well (aka no extreme stiffness), although because I applied more of the mixture instead of just adding more of the color wax, it does fell waxy and like I have a little too much product in my hair. It looks really good, as long as no one touches it. The product is easy to clean up and rinses off hands easily. It is time consuming, but worth it!r Another benefit is if you mix with your fav styling cream (the straight haired could easily do the same with a smoothing cream) the jar will last longer. Good luck!!

Rather transparent
Goes on, stays on and washes off appropriately, and is a pleasing silver/lustrous white color. However, it will not hide dark hair, even when applied heavily.

Covers well for very dark hair.
This worked wonderfully on my dark hair. Sometimes I just want a streak of color but I dont want to commit to the bleaching my hair would need to have a vivid color in my hair. This fits the bill. For the negative, it is almost like a hair gel in its behaviour. If you use too much (as you're likely apt to do because if you have dark hair like me you think you need more to cover) your hair will be unbrushable. It was very difficult when I applied too much. I found that I had to segment my hair into small pieces to get the least amount of sticking and it was easier to brush through after application. As for brushing, yes it can be difficult to brush through, and there will be transfer to your brush (if you use a boar or nylon bristle brush) It cleans out of the brush very easily but wait for your brush to dry before going after your hair again. After the product dries, if you brush your hair again, the product can flake off slightly, so be careful to brush your hair in a safe place for a little dusting of the dried product. I did notice where the dried product touched my skin, I did have a little breakout. I do have fairly sensitive skin though, so just be aware. I think with short hairstyles (like the picture) especially spiky styles or for a stripe of color in longer hair, its wonderful. You probably dont want to go full head with longer hair though, your hair will look dry with this product in. I alternated and did some creative painting with this, purple, and pink to emulate a galaxy color prior to committing to a permanent bleaching vivid color style. I think to counter the matte appearance of this product a spray oil or a spray shine might be a nice finisher. As for how easily does this wash out? One good washing and there was no trace of the product. I used Bumble and Bumble sunday shampoo though and that will strip pretty much any product out of your hair. I did follow with a thorough moisturizing shampoo and generous conditioning after needing that much stripping to remove the product. As for how long does this last. Until you wash your hair. It will fade slightly after a day if you dont wash your hair. If you plan to go to a club, or using this in a hot environment where you may sweat, be careful because if this gets wet, if can trigger the gel like behaviour and your hair may clump.

Works on my dark brown hair
As a proud mohawk owner, I crave temporary hair color without the commitment of permanent dye. Temporary Hair Dye for Girls Kids, Hair Wax Color, became my instant mane-changer! Beyond the Label: Don't let the name fool you - this wax is for anyone who wants vibrant hues without the commitment. From classic blues to fiery reds, find your perfect shade! Mohawk Maestro: The thick, waxy consistency perfectly molds and shapes my mohawk. The color goes on evenly, even on my spiky strands. Mixing colors creates unique blends and gradients, making my mohawk a masterpiece every time. Putty Power Up: Mixing the wax with my favorite molding putty is a game-changer. It gives me even more control to sculpt and define my mohawk, while still keeping the vibrant color. Perfect for that gravity-defying, eye-catching look. Easy Does It: Applying is a breeze - just scoop, warm, and run through your hair. It blends seamlessly without leaving residue. Washing out is even easier - one shampoo and you're back to natural. Overall, I'm thrilled! This hair wax color is a fun, affordable way to add a pop of color, whether you've got a mohawk or any other style. Unleash your inner hair artist and let your creativity shine! Additional points: May stain light-colored fabrics, so be careful. Patch test on a small area before full use. Not intended for eyebrows or eyelashes. Let the temporary hair dye fun begin!

No in wigs, and no in natural hair
I got two jars of this to experiment with, aiming to answer two questions: 1) Can it be used in wigs? Answer: no. At least not synthetic fibers, but maybe it'd work in natural hair wigs. But for as much as those cost, who'd take the risk? Especially considering the answer to question 2. I tried putting it in a short ombré-blonde wig, one that barely reaches the shoulders. It took half the jar, and the color was grainy and uneven, with speckles and clumps no matter how long I tried to even it out with hands or comb; I guess it just doesn't want to adhere and spread evenly on synthetic fibers. At least it washed out well, and the wig remains usable. 2) Can it be used in natural hair? I don't have enough to do any more than be an experimental subject, but my wife does, so we tried it in mine as a test case for hers. The result was a barely visible color change (might have done better in her sandy-blonde hair than my dark brown), a sticky flaky coating that got onto clothing and furniture (well, onto towels we put into place for the test, over clothing and furniture), and a pretty awful smell. It did straighten out my hair at first, though it curled back up later, and I can see how it might be useful for styling, but I can't see how anyone, even starting from bone-white hair, could get the colors they show in the pictures. A jar is at most two applications, maybe one if you have long hair and want to color it all. You'll be washing out everything you wore or sat on after you're done. And I don't know how you'd deal with the smell. What I am wondering now, though, is might other brands work better, or is this just how it is? On the up side, it is easy to apply and easy to wash back out.

A good, albeit fragrant, styling mud.
I admit, I do buy this semi reguarly, not just for halloween. Its a solid styling clay that has a rather strong fragrance to it. It does get everywhere but it also does its job holding. Less is best for this, and honestly, the small amount you get is more than enough for a few months, depending on use. I apply a small fingertip worth and kinda smear it in my hair because honestly its too dark; my curls get lost in the darkness. A slight bit of white sheen goes a long way.
