NLT Personal Size Giant Print Bible, Filament Enabled (LeatherLike, Evergreen Mountain , Red Letter) Imitation Leather – Large Print, October 4, 2022

I dove deep into the world of Bible reviews—yes, it was a marathon session! But, it paid off because this Bible is a gem. It's got a "leatherlike" cover that surprisingly doesn’t scream faux. The embossed detailing and sturdy binding add a touch of class without breaking the bank.The print is described as "giant", but don’t worry, you won't feel like you're gearing up with reading glasses anytime soon. It's big enough to read comfortably without straining—though, fair warning, the thin pages did give me a bit of eye strain at first. That said, it settled after a couple of uses; it seems balancing paper thickness and book bulk is an art form!I’m really getting into the NLT translation too—it makes the text flow so smoothly, enhancing my understanding and enjoyment of the scriptures. If you're on the fence, I say go for it. This Bible might just be the upgrade you’re looking for!

Beautiful Bible. This was an Easter gift for my son and he really loves it. He's a mature outdoors men for a 13 yo. He enjoys having the app access to go more in depth with what he is reading.

Pages aren’t too thin. Easy to read. Pretty cover.

The media could not be loaded. (Sry for my very long video lol) Very pretty, good quality. The pages are thin but I highlighted and it doesn’t bleed through (see pic). The font is perfect for reading for as long as you want without stressing your eyes. It is now my fav Bible, perfect for on the go.

This is the New Living Translation (NLT) Bible. I love it for every-day reading because it uses our present-day language, sentence structure, etc. That means I effortlessly understand what I'm reading without the mental struggle required for the unusual language and sentence structures of other translations. Without even trying, I find myself reading for longer periods of time than when reading my NASB or ESV Bibles.I am a little disappointed that there are no extras such as maps, timelines or topical indices in this Bible. I assume that is because it is Filament Enabled, which means all those extras are available online through the free Filament app for your cellphone or tablet. Still, when I'm reading, I try to get away from my electronics, so I wish they had included at least a few timelines and maps for easy reference.Of course, the content of the Bible is the most important thing, but with that understood, I must admit that I bought this particular Bible for the cover. I absolutely love the dark green (fake) leather with the engraved mountain peaks-- I call it my Hobbit Bible and it makes me smile every time I pick it up. :)
